TODAY!! as i was sitting under the tree at lunchtime during school, chewing on a chilli chicken roll ($2.50 from the canteen). I was thinking to myself how unspicy the chilli chicken roll was when chris, who was sitting next to me elbowed me in the ribs.
"wtf you do that for?" said i, through a mouthful of food.
"look at the person over there," said he, " is that a guy or a girl?"
following my strange friends gaze i spyed an ordinary looking boy. he was wearing the male school uniform, a white shirt, tie and grey pants.
"thats a boy you dumbass," i replied.
"are you sure?" said chris, "look again."
so with a sigh i reverted my gaze back to this boy... oh?.... HOLY s**t!! that dudes got boobs!!! no no, i know what youre thinking, hes got manboobs right? coz hes fat... noooo, he wasnt fat at all. in fact he was quite slim, and light of build as well. now, you tell me how a thin guy with a small build came to have breasts?
over the days as i kept on surveying this strange, fascinating, gender-neutral entity i came to realise, that (apart from the boobs) it had a feminine face shape, feminine posture, slightly inward pointing legs when walking and a quiet reserved personality. the most noticeable feminine trait, however, was its voice, a soft, soothing, polite voice.
later that week i found out through a friend who knows this person that she was indeed, a she. and that she was a tomboy....
life is a mystery.
