Yes I was there! It was fun.
First thing I did was go over to artist's alley and check a few things out. After that I went shopping and got kick a** goggles. When people asked me why I said, "Goggles for the sake of goggles," -_-
Then I went to "How to be a Ninja in 1 hour" Apparently ninjas do not fly and Naruto is inaccurate for those who couldn't tell already.
My friend and me went shopping again because she finally decided what she wanted. After that we watched some anime. We watched Hare+Guu and it is F@cked up for a kids' anime.
Before we left, we checked out the "Avatar: Comics and Magazines" presentation. There I saw a whole family dressed up as Avatar characters. The little boy as Aang was adorable. >w<
Anyway I learned that Season 3 will come out this year. They didn't give a date but, I'd bet fall because they said we should do our summer reading first.
We also learned that the people who judged the avatar original character contest didn't know what the hell a Mary-Sue was. (Figures since the characters chosen as winners were all over 70% Mary-Sue)
I'm planning to cos-play next year with my friend since we lacked preparation this year.
