I am hurt deep inside,
A sorrow that will never leave,
Never lessen,
It's impossible to put into words,
Into thoughts,
I can't make you understand,
But I want to,
I want you to know,
What I've lost,
How I've smiled through the tears,
What I've never told anyone,
Is what I most want to tell,
I need you,
You aren't there,
Where are you,
Why have you never seen my darkest hour,
How come I can't confide,
Can't be truthful,
You scorn,
Then say you'll always be there for me no matter what,
But you can't take the truth,
Like so many others,
You are always running,
I am never confiding.
