All right. Background Info: It is nearly impossible to get top marks at the State Band Competition. They bring in judges from out of state, who have no idea who has won before, who comes from what school, etc...and today, my band, the Alta High School Symphonic Band, took TOP MARKS at State Competition.

My band director cried. The unstoppable, unemotional, pissy-as-hell Mr. Mattingly CRIED!!!!!!!!!!! He kept a straight face when he told us our scores, though...I don't know how he did it. Everybody was crying, hugging, screaming...this kind of thing hasn't happened at Alta High School in seven years. XD
