"Whew... You're.... Fast... For.. A... Chick...." KBF said while panting.
Herbie replied with a quick chuckle, also panting.
"Whew, ok.." KBF took a deep breath, and said, "Today, how about I teach you some basic good manners?"
"Okay.. What are manners?"
"It's how you act, kind of. I'll show you how to have good manners, then you'll understand."
"Lets start then. I want to learn these, 'manners'."
"Umm...."
"I wanna start NOW!"
"First...."
And so, before bed, KBF taught Herbie how and when to say 'please' and 'thank you', and 'your welcome'. Then they had a good nights sleep. But Herbie didn't completely understand until he lied awake in bed, trying to figure out 'manners'.
