What hapened to me on the eve and on Christmas

my boss called me before christmas eve
asking if i could come to work...
cus its a holiday and some guys wanted to take leave
on the eve and on the actual day...
the boss sounded sad and he was kinda begging to me....
on the day only about 4 guys and 2 girls turned up
and the electronics store was about the size of 1and1/2 of a basketball court.
we were working full-time on both days!!!
all of us were exhausted on the last day of christmas.
but the remaining hours of my christmas didnt not turn out badly
the boss called us to have dinner with him.
he also doubled our pay for those 2 days too.

....looks like ill be sticking around with my job for a while.
suddenly i didnt feel like quiting anymore.i kinda got
a sorethroat when i got home not sure if its from talking to the
customers or the dinner...
