My Involvement With the American Resistance (Chapter 1) |

Chapter 1: An Introduction...
My proper name is Kuei Kyoukan, however, i am most commonly called "Amsali." Before becoming a member of the resistance, i was not affiliated with any military faction of any kind. I guess my official title would have been 'mercenary', but i am not a combatant for hire. I am however an expert if i may say so in the art of war. I have been all over the world, studied with unknown masters of battle and learned much in my travels.
Allow me to bring you up to speed: The year at the time of my joining the resistance was 2123, it is about ten years after third world war. The country once known as the United States of America took the worst of the damage, being attacked with no allies to aid in their struggle, it was only a matter of time before the countries resources and manpower were crippled and overrun. Due to how many political enemies that the U.S had accumulated, it was divided into terrortories now referred to as "Sectors." The list of former states included in the sectors are located within this journal.
I guess you could say that i became a part of this by chance of fate or a lucky coincidence, as i was traveling through the Pennsylvania sector, i came across a battle between some savage looking men and a team of scientists that seemed like they were in the middle of an excavation at what looked like the remains of a large building. I knew it wasn't my fight and could have easily just walked away from it, but something compelled me to help them out. The savages had no combat experience and I was easily able to defeat them.
After the encounter was over, I planned on just continuing on my way, but a young female approached me. She introduced herself as "Mali," a young, attractive female who was a lieutenant with the American Underground Resistance Faction. Apparently, the team of scientists were excavating at the ruins of a once "secret" military base for the plans on how to develop a weapon to help combat the oppression of the Pennsylvania sector.
They asked me to assist them in the return to their base to protect them if they were to be attacked again. I accepted and escorted them safely to the underground base, however, soon after we arrived, they became under attack by enemy forces...

The events in this story are fictional and are in no way real, they are just the result of countless hours of rp'ing and brainstorming. This is a work in progress, and i will be updating my journal with additional chapters, but I would like to know what you think so far. I am a professional, and I accept any kind of criticism

Division of Sectors within the former United States |

These are the after years in what has been come to be known as "The Greatest Conflict" in Earth's history. The occupying factions that have been in control of the respective sectors has ben overturned and are now occupied by a joint American/Austrailian effort of soldiers...
The actual states are no longer established, even the former boundaries of the states are now divided into sectors. The sectors and former states are included as follows:
The Wyoming Sector:
California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. Half of Wyoming as well as about half of the former state of Utah is part of this sector...
The Dakota Sector:
North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, West Michigan, and the other half of Wyoming...
The Illinois Sector:
Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Ohio, and Michigan...
The Colorado Sector:
Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona...
The Florida Sector:
Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Tennessee
The Pennsylvania Sector:
Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina...
The Massachusetts Sector...
New York, Conneticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, and Vermont...
Thats pretty much it for naming the new boundaries, oh yes, Hawaii and Alaska no longer belong to America, Hawaii was claimed by the Japanese, and Alaska has yet to be inhabitable.
The state of Delaware has been established as a quarantined zone for people with radiation poisoning. After the third world war, the other side decided to quarantine, instead of treat civilians as well as military personel. So they were dumped off in the former state of Delaware and quarantined...No one in, no one out. That is the way its been since the war ended...

The Lin-Kuei lives...again |

The Lin-Kuei are a very well organized, very secretive group of highly trained assassins, to know of their name means to be already marked for assassination, or dead. However, my survival skills and quick intellect have kept me alive despite their numerous attempts to kill me. I guess you could attribute my involvement with these assassins to one man...Kuei Gensou. He is the only and i mean ONLY person to have escaped the elite assassin network with all the trade secrets and weaknesses, for he was among the most deadliest of assassins, even among his fellow Lin-Kuei. Why Gensou decided to leave his Lin-Kuei past behind is still a mystery to me...
The battles Gensou and I had fought against the Lin-Kuei are too many to count, but in time we took our operation to China where the clan had its primary operations, after 5 years of careful planning, and countless sting operations, Gensou and I, with the help of several of our most valuable allies, rendered the clan defeated, with the Grandmaster defeated and his council destroyed, the Lin-Kuei was destroyed...or so we thought...
The other day, i was traveling through the plains of the Dakota sector, i was attacked by an assassin, but this was no ordinary assassin, he moved too quickly and quietly, his moves were too precise and calculated; however, my cunning and skill were too much for him and he was quickly defeated...
I can only assume that if i have been attacked by a Lin-Kuei assassin, then Gensou has been attacked as well, so i must now depart to the Seattle Airbase where Gensou is running his empire, for if the Lin-Kuei regains even a tenth of its once former strength, it will take Gensou and I to once again destroy the clan for good this time...
