When I woke up that morning I felt different, a new person in a way. Today was the day I began my Journey. You see when a wolven child becomes 16 they are given 2 Items to take on a journey, the journey is selected by the village elder and the childs parents. When my father came to get me to take me to the house of the elder he had a discouraged face, i was wondering what was going through his head.
When we entered the house of the elder, a scroll of a bunch of writing on it and thumb prints, "the scroll of journies" the elder told me. I was to bleed my thumb and place my thumb print on it, along with my wolven name which was Kaurin Okami.
The told me many things that day, the one thing I really remember that day was that I was one of a kind in the clan, there have been none like me in thousands years. After the inquisitve talk of my place in the clan he told me my quest was to hunt down an evil beast, a body that resembled a shadow no face, but it was a great evil according to the elder. Then the 2 items were given to me by the elder, "The sword of the wolfs howl" no regular person in the clan can handle the sword but its power was not effecting me. The second item was a pack with a hard bread in it for food.
My father walked me to the gate of the village, along with the other residents watching me, all my father said to me as I left was "come back alive". So I left the village no more than 3 words escaping my mouth, "who am I"?
