The Azasim are a tribal race that dwell in places like flat lands or the edges of swamps and forests. Not a very social race they tend to take prisoner whoever gets to close to their camp. They dont usually kill those they take prisoner and will exchange freedom for different things. A good example would be to teach them something or to do a task for them. The spines on their arms are razor sharp and can either be shot out as a projectile or the size increased until each is about the size of a basic long sword. Because of their tribal nature the Azasim believe that there are multiple gods and each controls different aspects of life and will do anything to appease them.
Céleste, was actually born into one of the few tribes of the Azasim that had common relations with humans and other races of the world. This however proved to be his tribes downfall and was the only survivor. He was hidden in his cradle inside of the chieftains hut as his family and would be friends were slaughtered. It was a very short time before he was found by a couple who were out hunting. The couple never hid anything from Céleste, not that he was not aware that he wasn't the same as them. The woman he saw as his mother was Elven and had kind eyes. His father was human and was hellbent on seeing vengeance done for what happened to his son. After a few years, when Céleste turned seven his mother became pregnant and he soon had a younger sister. About five years later Céleste's family was once again attacked but this time he was old enough to help defend them. Though he wasn't able to stop the attackers from killing his father in front of his sister Alenia. He fended off the attackers killing a few of them before they disappeared. They quietly buried his father and the sorrow in his mothers eyes told them they had to disappear themselves. It wasn't until Alenia was fifteen when their mother died of depression and sorrow from losing her beloved. That left Céleste and Alenia alone together and they depended on one another both to survive and for comfort when trouble happened. One night Alenia was kidnapped while they slept next to each other and only a note left as a warning. Then he understood why the attack had happened. The people who killed his father were after him. Because of something that had happened with one of the other tribes they blamed him and came looking for revenge. Because of it his sister was missing and he the one that caused it. Now he spends his time searching for his sister hoping to one day find her and get her back. It has been five years since he has last seen her.
