~Sugar Bird's Movie Review~

The Golden Compass-

It had an interesting plot to it and didn't rush through scenes like most movies, it was alot like the book which was a plus for some people, the biggest problem was that it took forever just to get through one scene. I didn't mind that but my younger brothers hated it and got bored extremely fast. Overall, not as cool as it looks in the previews.

Alvin and the Chipmunks-

Good movie for kids, but the people who grew up watching the original cartoon will be dissapointed. It launches itself so quickly into a plot that you lose track of whats happenning if you don't play close attention. The major flaw was the ending, it was possibly the biggest cliff-hanger ending ever. You sit in your seat expecting another scene but instead the credits roll on by....

National Treasure: Book of Secrets-

This is one of my favorite movies of the year so far. If you haven't seen the first one it may be a bit confusing. The plot isn't too fast and not too slow, some old plot holes are filled with a HUGE suprise. Like the first its really well made and in my opinion, WORTH SEEING.

Definetly, Maybe-

Good idea but the way it was presented lost my interest quickly. The plot dragged and streched until the point that I almost fell asleep. Certain parts were funny and they did a good job choosing the actors. Worth seeing when you've seen everything else in theatres.

Iron Man-

Ooh, finally and interesting movie. It was well filmed but I'd assume it would be a bit confusing if you've never read the comics. I'd see it again in a heartbeat. Look up a bit of info on Tony Stark before you see it!

Narnia: Prince Caspian-

A movie I have been waiting for, for almost a year...and it was off the book by a mile. The movie captured the interesting points of the book but left out alot of info on why Caspian left and blah blah blah. My little brother (who had never read the book) was constantly tapping my hand to ask what or why that was happening.

WALL-E-

This was an adorable movie, great for everyone in the family. Despite the lack of dialogue you could always understand the characters. It had an original plot and was perfectly executed.

The Incredible Hulk-

Another good movie, wow! There was some great scenes but my dad kept asking what was going on. Like Iron Man, you might want to do a bit of reading to find out what to expect.

Hellboy ll: The Golden Army

I loved the first movie so the bar was set high to beat it. The movie's action scenes moved rapidly and the relationship's between the characters was amazing. It wasn't as good as Iron Man or the Hulk but it was probably one of my favorites.
