Chapter 1 – The wolf the size of a horse?!
“AWWW JACOB!” I cried. Jacob my older cusion was once again over at my house terrorizing me.
“What? Am I to big now?” He said with a smirk across his face. I rolled my eyes. I had heard about Jacob and his crush Isabella swan mishap with Bella’s boyfriend. After Edward, Bella’s boyfriend had returned from his disappearance Jacob had been growing non-stop.
“No! But I would like to sit on the couch please” I snapped. Jacob smiled bigger.
“Fine, What ever you wish” He swung his legs off the couch and on to the floor.
His feet landed with a thud and I cringed as he cracked all of his joints as he could.
“JAKE!” I yelled. He just smiled.
“Hey I’ve been lying down all day, you should be more considerate.” I rolled my eyes.
“Jacob, what will I ever do with you?”
“Love me?”
“Never”
“Your loss”
I stomped out of the house. I didn’t see how I was kicked out of my own house but I didn’t care at the moment. Jacob could be so inconsiderate. I tried to be nice but ever since his mishap with Bella…well he was hard to be around. I walked to my bike and jumped on. Anywhere but here would be good. I kicked off the ground and started to pedal down to forks.
Once there I stopped by the nearest restaurant and chained my bike up. “God I’m starving” I moaned. I smiled as I walked in. Inside was just like any other normal restaurant. Tiled floors, Metal bar, and circler tables. I sat down at a single booth and picked up my menu. I felt someone bump my shoulder and I Turned to look at them.
“WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE” I snapped but I should have held my tongue. Behind me were 5 huge burly men that looked like they could snap your head off with one swing.
“Oops?” I mumbled.
I jolted outside and started to run as fast I could.
“AHHHHH!” I screamed as the men can up on me. I ran into the woods trying to lose them but they were very agile for how big they were. “HELP ME!” I screamed once more and one of the men grabbed me and threw me to the ground.
“We’ll teach you some manners b***h” The one that knocked me down said. I curdled up into a ball trying to protect myself. When I fell back I had broken my wrist and it hurt. The next thing I knew the men were screaming like babies and started running. I looked up at my savor but I shouldn’t have. Above me was a huge wolf about the size of a horse. My eyes widen and I tried to scoot back but my wrist reminded me that I was in pain and I cringed. The wolf looked at me with a worried face and I looked at it.
“I’m ok really” Why lie to a dog? It nodded and turned away.
“Bye”
The wolf ran into the woods until it was totally out of my sight. I grabbed my wrist it hurt badly. I pulled out my cell phone with my good hand and dialed Jacob. I didn’t know what else to do. I waited outside the restaurant for him to pick me up to take me to the hospital. I waited for a long time and about 30 min later he arrived.
“Bout time” I said rolling my eyes.
“Sorry traffic” I looked at him strangely.
“Traffic?”
“Yeah…come one lets get you to a hospital….you might have a brake”
The trip wasn’t long and I felt better when the doctor took my wrist and put it in a cast. It was a bright green. My favorite color. Jacob can and ran his fingers though my jet black hair.
“I’m sorry kid”
I rolled my eyes
