“A Hurricane”

My life is like a hurricane.
Out of control bringing destruction
nothing but sadness afterwards
or contains nothing but sadness
and horror into peoples lives.
During the hurricane, no one can do
anything but watch everything be destroyed.
But afterwards we all come back together
and help each other up.
If one falls we help them up.
When everything gets destroyed
I’ll get back up no matter what
and help make it better for everyone.
We humans do what we're capable of doing to
help our world after an event like a hurricane.
