"The Warmth of Winter"
By: Darcy the Bard
For: Moonlight on Snow
A sparkling visage of ice and flurries,
a helm fit for the furies.
Wintery whirls of snow and mist,
even the fairies get in the jist.
Blue skin, seemingly blind eyes,
do not be fooled by this creature's guise.
As icy heart is not there,
her eyes do not blindly stare.
A starry sky she treads under,
a night sky torn asunder,
by her frosty appearance.
She allows no warm weather interfereance.
Li'l flecks of snow dance to the ground,
though they make no sound,
she loves each one.
To Jack Frost, she is the sun.
For she can do more than he,
it ony takes a second to see,
she gives out gifts,
and spirits she lifts.
While he only nips noses,
and has no elegant poses.
So meet the lovely Moonlight on the Snow,
and warmness in Winter you will know.
