Hmmm... I just thought this might be a good thing to have.. In case I ever want to join an RP, and I need a sample, here's a slew, a choice few, of my works.
- Taken from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, RPing from the view of Cho Chang, my first ever RP character, and in a way, my favorite. But not my first ever post, don't worry! ;D
Cho smiled to herself as she crossed the platform, the familiar echo of her footsteps as they hit the cobbled platforms and the loud buzz of millions of witches and wizards congregating comforted her. She took in the sights of everyone bustling around in odd clothes and billowing robes, toting owls and cats and bats and other animals you wouldn't ever see anyone carrying around anywhere outside of this magical world. She loved the sight of the steam winding up slowly and lazily from the train stacks, the low whistle as they were getting ready to go, and the wooden signs above with their thick gold lettering indicating what platform and train was where. She loved the sounds of spells being spoken, the laughter as someone ate a particularly fowl Berty Bott's bean. It was all so comforting, so relaxing. She had missed it dearly.
Breathing deeply and profoundly, taking in the smell of magic at its purest, she let it out slowly. It's good to be back, she thought, just thinking of all the wild and amazing adventures she would have this year. Something in her head told her it was going to be a very good year. She was so happy to be seeing all her friends again. Vivian, her partner in crime and eternal best friend. Miranda, her sarcastic pink-haired friend. Wendy, the witty and resourceful auror-in-training whom she had learned to love. Vincent, Wendy's rather flamboyant and reckless brother, who she liked well enough. Christopher, one of the few mysteries left to her world. Samantha, Vincent's girlfriend, a girl with a wild streak. Cronoa, the first Slytherin she had ever tolerated, let alone become friends with. And of course, Harry, Ron, and Hermoine, the unforgetable Gryffindor trio that had managed to cause quite the stir in their time at Hogwarts. It was an ecclectic group of friends, and yet, somehow, they made a great team, a force to be reckoned with. She was practically bursting with the excitement of seeing them all again.
Smiling, she stepped onto the train, suitcase in tow, wand in hand. Showing the conductor her ticket, and burst open the door into the hallway. Students ran about trying to find friends that they hadn't seen over the summer, buying sweets, fooling around with new magic tricks. "I'm hooo-ooome!" she shouted over the general clamor to no one in particular, not really caring if people gave her weird looks. She just smiled as people looked up, realizing it was just Cho and dismissing it as typical.
