A Samurai's Oath
The soil is stained, The night is dark,
The moon is silent, The light I embark.
Eyes of hatred racing towards me,
I swung my katana, Bright, tomorrow will be.
.
.
What were they, How many,
Those whose tomorrow will never be?
What has the Highness created, What has he?
A monster, A killer, A tragedy.
.
.
The sun rises, The night sinks,
A light, A guide, The end of revolution.
A light, too, on my heart speaks,
I am light, am you, am resolution.
.
.
The land I protected, The land I have changed
Has forever to thank me but forever will I be in vain,
And now Ill wander, Even though Im famed,
The fame that had wealth it lived, I may be insane.
.
.
Now ill wander valley by valley,
These oath on my walks I would carry,
Never will again this sword be stained,
Even though those sins could never be forgiven..
