Foxxy's journal ^,...,^
A long long time ago, there was, like in most stories, a large castle with a king, a queen, a prince, and two princesses. The older princess was blind, in this time people thought blindness was spreadable. She was born blind, and in fear the king and queen consulted the witch doctor.
"Her eyes must be tied off from the world and others to see," The witch doctor said as he wrapped her eyes in two different types of cloth. "These two types of cloth should protect her eyes,"

"what type of cloth is it?" The queen asked holding her daughter in her arms.
"It's the cloth from the Elegant Veil to keep her eyes pure and the Gothic Veil to keep the evil in her eyes from escaping," the witch doctor replied.
"Evil? there's evil in her eyes?" the King asked with worry.
"I'm afraid so," The witch doctor said turning away. "Now take her away, keep her hidden from the world,"
"will she ever be able to see," A voice said and everyone turned around to notice it was the young prince, only 6 years old.
"I- we may never know young prince," The witch doctor stuttered. The prince looked at his baby sister in her white dress and blindfolds covering her eyes. He noticed his sister fidget for a while, he knew the blindfolds bothered her.
"I think the blindfolds are bothering her," the prince said while trying to grab the blindfold from her tormented face. The queen pulled her daughter closer to her chest and the king pulled his son back.
"No son! it's for the best, they must stay on!" The king said and held his son back. The prince looked down and let a tear escape his face, "I'm sorry," he whispered to his baby sister and ran away from the witch doctors hut.
Around The time our baby princess turned fourteen and the prince twenty...
The princess sat in her room alone, listening to the outside world. She was as still as she could be and listened to birds chirping, the wind blowing, and even children laughing just outside the palace walls. She longed to feel the warmth of the sun beating against her skin, the wind blowing through her hair, in the summer the crisp grass brush against her skin, the spring rain all around her, the autumn leaves fall and crunch under her feet, and even the winter snow softly touch her skin and melt away. A soft knock on the door startled her and drift away from her fantasies of the outside world.
"Sister, may i come in," A small voice said as the door creaked open.
"Hitomi, it's me Midori your-" the voice said before being cut off.
"Your not my sister Midori, i can tell by the way you carry yourself, the sound of your footsteps, who are you," Hitomi said waiting for an answer. Hitomi heard a grim, evil laugh.
"Well, I may be able to decive your eyes but not your brain i see," a croaky man's voice said. Hitomi could feel the person slide closer and reach for her face. Hitomi flinched and grabbed the hand.
"Answer me now," Hitomi said squeezing the hand. The voice laughed once again and snarled,
"Foolish girl! Well, actually that witch doctor was the foolish one. Thinking you could keep evil away with the Veils of the goddess's," Another hand reached up and unraveled the blindfolds. "If only he really knew how foolish he was," the voice snarled once again. "You want to be free don't you?"
"..yes," Hitomi said holding her head down.
"Then alls you have to do is trade me your eyes. You don't need them, you can't even see, my dear," The voice said slithering around her as though he were a snake. Hitomi thought for a moment. "You must answer quickly child, although, i could give you a choice, your eyes or your family," The voice hissed in Hitomi's ear.
"Neither!" Hitomi growled back. "If my eyes are so useless why do you want them so bad! and i'd rather have my family than freedom,"
"Wrong choice!" The voice yelled as Hitomi felt the size of whatever it was around her grow larger. "You should have chosen family for i have killed your family already!" Tears escaped Hitomi's face for the first time ever in her life, " how- how could you!" Hitomi choked.
"oh please, the only person that ever cared about you is right in front of you," The voice said shrinking back to size.
"what... what do you mean," Hitomi asked wiping the tears from her face.
"I, Your only brother! i was there when the witch doctor wrapped your eyes in those blindfolds, I tried to take them away! I ran away trying to find a way to save you," The voice said then looked in his sister's eyes. Her eyes were pure white, glistening in the dim light. The voice plunged his long sharp nails into her eyes and ripped them out.
