Aislynn decened the staircase into the crowded but beautiful creation she made. Every one of her classmatess, from Freshies to Seniors, were on the dancefloor, meeting people they never thought they'd ever speak to.
It filled Ash's heart to see them. She scanned the crowd for her bestfriend, who was dressed in the prettiest blue dress ever, Emilia.
This masquarade was all for you, Em, she thought. For your Cinderella moment.
She found Emilia standing off to the side with all the single people, and marched herself over to her.
"What do you think your doing, Emilia?" Ash demanded. "Where's your date?"
"He bailed," Em answered. Em was dressed in a baby blue dress that was tight around the waist and chest area, and flowed out and around her thighs, stopping just above her knees. In her dark blond hair were tiny red sparkles and a bow clip-- matching the color of her dress-- to hold her bangs out of her golden eyes. And because it was a masquarade ball, Em wore a sparkling silver mask with tiny blue feathers on the left side. She was stunningly beautiful, which is why it enraged Aislynn to know that Kieth bailed on going to the dance with her.
"But this is her Cinderella moment," Ash murmured to herself.
"It doesn't matter Ash. I'll talk to some of the guys over here," Emilia said with a shy smile.
"You better," Ash replied, stalking off to find Kieth.
