The name given to me at birth is Nicholas Cole Andrews but you may call me Nicky.
I have 17 years behind me.
I am a MALE.
Personality: Nicholas is shy and quiet on his better days. He tends to be jittery and nervous when left alone. He does, however, form strong bonds with those he allows himself to get close to. Quick to feel the most extreme form of whichever emotion, Nicky proves himself to be every bit of the teenager he is. He can be quick to latch onto the first nurturing figure to show him attention
Elements and Abilities: As a result of various experiments, Nicholas can control two elements: Fire and Water. While most Espers wouldn't be able to wield contradicting elements simultaneously, the tests that Nicholas endured have allowed him to do just that.
Nicholas's talent with water is mainly limited to manipulation on a molecular level. He has the ability to split each molecule of water into it's baser elements(hydrogen and oxygen) and release them into a targeted area. This acts as a sort of explosive when combined with his fire. Along with this, Nicholas has an uncanny talent for finding pure water sources.
Nicholas's fire is as erratic as his mood changes. It is the element that he has the most precise control over, although when pressured to use it, he becomes nervous and loses that preciseness. In battle situations, he sticks with the easier to form and control fire balls and targeted explosions
Intimates
✖✖ Background: Nicholas was created in a BioTech laboratory for an experiment regarding the genetic presence of natural antibodies in order to better attend to the health of the Ultiman people. However, when the presence of Espers was confirmed, the lab began a new project to test the ability of implanting these elemental specialties in Ultimans that were not alive during the Cataclysm.
These experiments required several surgeries in the brain of the subject, and often left the subject more psychologically damaged after each one. After several surgeries, the scientists at BioTech successfully implanted the elements of fire and water into Nicholas, but they didn't stop there. Nicholas endured surgery after surgery, all unsuccessful, but they kept on until something stuck.
After a procedure to implant the element of darkness, Nicholas began to get head-splitting migraines. He was able to control the element, as proven in several tests, but not without consequence. After each test, Nicholas would become very sick and feel an immense pressure behind his eyes. One night, Nicholas had a terrible nightmare and was awakened by a migraine more painful than any other. The pressure increased so much that his right eye literally burst from his skull. Along with the use of his eye, Nicholas lost the ability to control darkness.
After this incident, BioTech Labs realized that they'd used Nicholas to his fullest extent, and labelled him as an Esper to be brought to Haven.
He was sixteen years old when he was admitted into the institution, where he spends most of his time to himself. His shy manner and odd behavior have all but isolated him.

-Nicholas, having no parents to speak of, is subconsciously searching for a "mother". Since the only compassion he got at BioTech from was from women, he has an easier time bonding with them. The scientists in the lab were men, so he associates them with fear, distress, and pain.
-A fine network of scars can be found on his scalp from the many surgeries he endured at BioTech.
-Nicholas can, when there are few distractions and very little stress is put on him, create any shape he chooses with his fire. So long as the flame has fuel to burn(such as oxygen or any other flammable) the shape will hold. These figures can move about and look incredibly lifelike(save for the fact that they are encompassed entirely in flames). He can usually be seen entertaining himself by watching these figures of his creation.

The name given to me at birth is Adrian Patrice Monroe but you may call me Adrian.
I have 22 years behind me.
I am a FEMALE.
Personality: Adrian is kind to a fault. Almost everyone is innocent in her eyes, and even if someone is cruel to her, she manages to convince herself that it wasn't so bad and that they'll 'come around eventually'. Forever the voice of reason, she will not hesitate to get in the middle of an argument for the sake of peace. Adrian is naturally social and quick to make friends. Though she is the same age as most of the people in the institute, she looks on them as her children due to her nurturing and motherly attitude.
Elements and Abilities: Adrian controls the elements of Light and Metal.
-Light: So long as there's an adequate source, Adrian can control any light within her range. She has the ability to bend the light absorbed by the human eye to show an illusion of her choosing. Since this ability takes very little of her concentration, it can affect multiple people at once. However, if the person affected is aware of this manipulation, it has no affect unless that person willingly allows the illusion to display itself. These illusions have no physical effect.
Adrian can also break the light off of its original source to float about her in orbs as a sort of flashlight.
-Metal: With a simple touch, Adrian has the ability to shape any metal(seemingly effortlessly) into the shape of her choosing. This will usually be used for weapons and armor, but is not restricted to those boundaries. This ability only functions if Adrian can touch the metal.
Intimates
✖✖ Background: Adrian was born into an average family to loving parents. She has one who is five years older than her. She doesn't remember much of the Great Explosion since she was only two years old when it occurred, but she grew up comfortably after.
When BioTech released information on the Espers, Adrian's parents honestly thought that Haven was safe and sent their daughter there in the hopes that she would learn to control whatever it was that needed controlling. Having unyielding faith in the corporation, her parents never suspected what was really going on.
Adrian was always mature for her age, so she held no resentment for her parents. She knew that they loved her and understood that they were ignorant of the institution's true intentions.
Adrian spends most of her time playing peace-keeper in Haven. She's the sort of mother-figure for the younger people there.

-Adrian can often be seen with a small ball of light floating about her head. She insists it is not of her creation and calls it by the name of Chouchin.

With no tattoos, piercings or scars to speak of, Adrian looks like a normal human girl, however one of her eyes is startlingly green while the other is light brown.
