Roll Play is a game I've created! (my first steps into becoming a game designer) Roll Play is a game using dice and cards. Each Players take turn using dice for many things but the main purpose of the game is to reduce you opponent HP to Zero.
Important Facts.
-There are two main types of cards. Fighter Card Action Cards
--Fighter Cards (FC) These cards are represented with a character. (Human, monster, ect.) These cards are given 6 crest, a set amount of Hit Points, and a Max Action Points (Special cards are given unique ability). These are the cards you use to battle with. At the start of every battle your fighter AP Value starts off as 0 and can only be raise to the Max AP of the monster. At the star of every turn after the first turn your fighter gain 2 AP per turn.
--Action Card (AC) These cards have many ability you can use to turn the game around. These cards are given an effect and an AP cost.
---Using AC Before you can use an AC you must have enough AP value on your Fighter. After using your AC subtract the AP cost from your current Fighter AP value.
-Crest Each Fighter Card are given Six Crest. These Crest are assign with a number from 1 - 6 .You find out what move you can do for that turn by rolling a die and whatever number you get with the die is your move for that turn. There are all sorts of Crest from simple fighting to Tech Moves.
--Tech Moves (TM) Only some fighters are given Tech Moves. Tech Moves are powerful moves that requires the use of AP. So this means if you get a TM and have enough AP value to pull it off then you can use the that TM. If you don't have enough then you do nothing for that turn. Tech Moves cannot be saved.
--Saved Crest (SC) At the star of every battle you get 6 Saved Crest. Saved Crest are use to save an use Crest at the right time. You start off with 1 attack crest, 1 block crest, 3 wait crest, and 1 crest you roll. To use a saved crest you must give up 1 AP and switch a SC with what ever you just rolled.
-Back Fire (BF) Back Fire only happens if your opponent ATK value is lower then your fighter's BLK value and vise versa. BF damage the attack by the difference between the ATK value and the BLK value.
Battles Battles are done by rolling dice and seeing that moves you make. May seem like a Random game at first but if you use AC and SC right you can become a pro. Basic way to win is using ATK crest to wipe out your opponent HP.
Basic Crest
ATK-attack the ATK crest is the most common way of winning a match. The ATK value is decided by rolling a die and what ever number shows up is your ATK value.
BLK-block The BLK crest is the most common way of defending your fighter. The BLK value is decided by rolling a die and what ever number shows up is your BLK value.
Wait-wait the wait crest is the most common crest there is. This crest has no effect and is a waste of a turn. You fighter does nothing if you get this crest.
Dodge-dodge The dodge crest lets your fighter take no damage for that turn.
P.ATK-power attack (ATK Type) The P.ATK is a stronger version of the ATK crest. The P.ATK value is decided by rolling a die and then doubling the number you just rolled.
P.BLK-power block (BLK type) The P.BLK is a stronger version of the BLK crest. The P.BLK value is decided by rolling a die and then doubling the number you just rolled.
W.BLK/P.ATK-weak block/weak attack (BLK/ATK type) The W.BLK/W.ATK is a weaker version of the BLK/ATK crest. The W.BLK/W.ATK value id decided by rolling a die and then cutting the number you just rolled in half (round down). It is possible to get a Zero.
