Place, Date, Time: Aurora, Colorado. Sunday, June 7th, 2009, 1:40PM

On my visit to Colorado, we ran a big speed bump. A tornado. Sirens blared at 1:40, TV went out at 1:50, hail, thunder, heavy rain and hail at 1:55. Roaring thunder, blasting rain and hail. Car damaged. TV returns at 2:00. News reports funnels at Southlands. Rain, hail, and thunder lighten at 2:10. Funnels reported close to us. Fire trucks, ambulances, police sirens blare. 2:20, tornado threat going on farther from us now. Able to go up stairs at 2:30. Surveying the damage. Light hail by me, golf ball sized hail at Southlands. Tornado damage at Southlands. Southlands closed. Places, items, all scattered. Tahoe has dents and a big crack in the wind shield. Major damage done. Tornadoes continuing to be spotted all around Colorado from one cell. DIA remains unaffected. No one killed as far as anyone knows. We all live.
