Eyes sewed shut with tainted lace
Bodies dance past with vicious grace
Vile secrets whispered in a maiden’s ear
And envious eyes beam as they slur “how queer.”
No soul thriving, no heart beating, can tear their gaze away
From the girl with strings in her wrists that coil as she sways.
Now their tangled, tightening around, her pleading cries can not be found
As her eyes swell and cries die down, a blade appears engraved “so sound”
Not a moments hesitation, the clock is ticking
Her life is hers’ and only hers’ for the taking
Glowing eyes fade along with a feverish tongue
My beautiful doll is finally gone.
My teacher is making us do poems for a project, and I sort of like this one…even though I wrote it in like forty-seconds.
