Chapter 2 Page 1: A Meeting & The Hatching
The dragon had had it's good night's rest. She woke up early before dawn. She left the cave for an hour more or less. She watched the sunrise, a scene she had always loved. For the rest of the day, she watched the clouds go by through a crack in the cave ceiling. A little later, she heard rustling & talking to faint to hear. She got up, just in case it was a threat to the eggs. At the entrance of the cave, two figures stood, obviously not a threat. They froze at the sight of her. She fully emerged from the cave & saw two young humans, a boy & a girl. "Come On Rena!" The boy shouted, pulling the girl's arm. Rena was spellbound. "A dragon, Lyle..." 'She's so spellbound.' The dragon thought. "Duh! I can see that!" 'A little advice might help.' the dragon thought, amused. She bared her teeth. "You should listen to him, girl." At this being said, lyle slid his hand down to the hilt of his sword. The dragon observed them more. They have a lot of spirit mana & unlocked magic. "You can talk!" Rena gasped "Of course, We dragons are just as intellectual as you are." A faint shimmer in the cave caught their attention. The dragon looked back. "See to it that you are here when I return." The dragon picked up the pendants with her teeth. The pendants emitted the light there were crystals embedded into them. One was blue & the other was green. There were gold notches surrounding it. "They seem to be the ones" she whispered. A memory came to her which she remembered clearly. Her drake, Mauderon, was preparing her the trip. "Emeraldite, if you ever encounter 'them' and you are unsure, check their spirit magic. Then, the pendant will glow. they glow brightest when they are near. Your eggs will hatch at their arrival, though it will minutes, hours, even days. Now my daughter, fly & fulfill our destiny." Emeraldite snapped back to reality, still holding the pendants throbbing with magic. She came out. Ah, they stayed, probably still spellbound. She laid the pendant at their feet. "It's beautiful..."Rena remarked "But why are you showing these to us?" Lyle asked, who was always alert and cautious. "Come in young ones, and bring the pendants." Lyle and Rena both hesitated at first then decided to go in, there is no turning back after all. They stopped in the second cavern. "Sit," Emeraldite bid "I shall begin. I am Emeraldite, daughter of Mauderon & Lorenia. heir to a mission to stop the wars among our races. Heir to a prophecy." "What is this mission and this prophecy, Emeraldite?" Lyle asked "It started long ago, two dragon siblings of great heir & power had befriended two humans.Their closeness has earned the humans the power to unlock their magical power hidden deep within them. They grew strong and power full, both the humans and the dragons. Unfortunately, an evil force, headed by the dark minister corrupted a portion of the dragon's population, turning them against us and our riders...

Chapter One: The Day After
There was a loud knock on the door & a male's voice. "Rena, Rena. Get Up, It's already nine." Rena was fourten with black hair & brown eyes. She stirred & opened an eye. "What did you say, Lyle?" Lyle, her older brother was sixteen also with black hair but has blue eyes. "It's nine and you'll oversleep and be late for breakfast." "Oh, okay. Give me a minute, I'll be right down." "Sure." "Jeezz...it's summer and he still want's me to wake up early." She said to herself. Rena looked at the notebook & looked at the sketch. "I truly wonder what that was." She whispered Rena fixed herself & went down. her brother & father were already there eating breakfast. Her father, Thom, was reading the newspaper. "Here." Lyle slid a plate before she sat down. It was obvious that her Dad cooked. The eggs were salty & the bacon slightly burnt. She looked around. "I guess you're looking for mom." Lyle began Rena nodded "Well, she said that there's an important meeting & will be gone for quiet awhile." "Did she let us go into the mountains?" "Yep." They're father stood up and picked up his suitcases. "Well, Kids, be careful.Lyle, I expect you to take care of you sister & you Rena, should listen to him." "Yes dad. See you." He walked out the door.

Prologue: Arrival
It was a cool night in the forest. A girl was sitting on a rock watching the moon in it's full glow. Then Something passed by the moon, it's color reflecting on her skin. It was emerald green. The sound of beating wing & a gust of air accompanied it. "This can't be a bird," She whispered; "It's too big." She continued to watch the creature til it was swallowed up by the night. Mystified, the girl headed back home. The path was visible. She knew it anyway. She softly entered her room & opened a window. A breeze came in & a notebook filled with sketches flipped open. The girl leafed through it & found a pencil. She sketched in the silver moonlight. Finally, she closed the notebook & went to bed. Meanwhile, the creature, which was a female dragon, flew faster with each wingbeat & searched the mountain for a suitable cave. several meters from the base, she found one. She lowered herself & fitted perfectly, even eith spread out wings. From her claws, she procduced 2 eggs & 2 amulets. The dragon moved further into the cave where it was warmer & more well hidden. She collected twigs for a nest & laid the eggs in them. She curled up beside the nest & lifted her head at the slightest rustle. 'I'm worrying too much. Voengath will be safe & he knows this location. Maybe the elementals didn't see us go. The caves are well hidden, wam & high. Are They here or are the pendants glowing merely as a false alarm.' She wondered.
