9 Wild Flowers
Songs (For now, made during Wild Things so it's kinda similar):
What James in the Giant Peach's Family
sounds like in German"Ed is the past time
If the shower in my room
And Zabuza did invite my common
And if he's far gone then,
And he's gotten off my ace
We're never gonna sloppen hold on the dish James!
James, you have murdered ding
James, blight is in my open golden dee
James, twice has given scooby doo
We've murdered him, we're murdering, we've murdered him and then twice or four!
Tanks gone for the rear
Off woven dining gear -We'd have a dot
Dumas is a click for common -Oh yeah?
Doll fish in my wagon
And a stem's in here too
We've never needed quite a taunt as sleeping stew!
James, do this in the foyer
James, hat is in my gut and men this time
James, you'd do a sneavil
We've murdered him, we've murdered him, we've murdered him vivivivi then four!
So good in the wagon, don't you lust?
I have done in a real tar dish
James, you are never Freud
James, hat is in my gut and men this time
James, we fight all over your soul
We murdered him, we murdered him, we're murdering in his soul!"
Risu the Troll
I imagine everyone and their dog knows
Damsel in this Dress but just in case, there it is. She does orsum corsets and I would sell all three of my grandmothers for one of those pirate coats. There's are also branches on Etsy, Ebay and Artfire.
Catherinette Rings have some lovely stuff and I keep thinking of buying something (particularly
Mr Bubbles) and then thinking that it might be uncomfortable.
This here shop has some nice, frilly boleros in a variety of colours which could enhance the right outfit and bring some much-needed colour to steampunk.
Spats. Not much else to say, really, although the yellow ones look like French fancies.
I love the watches
here. They're a lovely, baroque alternative to the usual pocket watch while keeping steamy elements.
I also love
Starlette Finery which has a cheesy name but some nice necklaces, some of which could go nicely with the right steamy outfit but I love the names she gives things. The first necklace I found was
A Casual Lunch with Gloria which seemed like such a wonderful name to give a piece of jewellery and gave it a bit of a personality too.
Closer to home, there's also the
Official Steampunk Fashion Thread on Gaia, which has many useful links although they're spread over more than 400 pages of thread. It's been a bit quiet recently.
As for art, I've been in and out of urban vinyl for a few years and I've loved the work of
Doktor A since the days of the Qeester forum (now sadly closed), which often wanders into steampunk, particularly his current range of figures; the
Mechtorians.
