Abraham knew what would come next, he knew that the master would give him his orders, and that soon he would have to go off to kill another pointless victim. or maybe for once the master had a real purpose in mind?
'Yes' he thought dully, 'that has to be it. i can feel the winds of change and so can he. this will be a time of times for our cause, i am sure of it!'
though he thought this he said nothing, he usually said nothing, and because that was his way, nobody questioned his silent stares.
Sun took him through many corridors, up flights of stairs and accross the grand halls of the all but forgotten flying fortress. they advanced into complete darkness and back out into the sunlight, reaching the keep with suprising speed. it was their way, the way of those who only know how to follow orders.
But Abraham was far from some mindless drone. he was serving the master, yes that much was true, but he had his own goals, his own ambitions, and noone, not even the master, could stop him.
his goals were covered in shades of gray. he knew that soon the Tal'Mordrin, the waker of the planet's spirit, would be born again, if he was not already living. he knew that the remaining demon artifacts were active, and that an army of demons had already struck out at the heart of man, destroying the Grand North capital of Tazloc in only 2 days. but demons didn't concern him, only the waker. the Tal'Mordrin was said to be the strongest human to ever exsist, and each new one is five times stronger than the last. he doubted this seriously, but concluded that each Tal'Mordrin would be stronger than the last, as things go when it comes to the human spirit. He wanted to test that strenght, to see how an imortal matched up against a human.
