(Note : Okay, so we didn't actually assault anything.)
Two friends and I went on a trip to Caribou, Maine on the 20th and 21st. It was my first time in the USA. It was amazing! We left early on Friday to make it there around 10AM Atlantic time.
Although the sky was not, to my dissapointment, purple, there was quite a big difference between Canada and the USA. The most noticeable was the community. The people seemed to be -getting involved- in community activities. In the city I live in, group activities begin and end with the huge fish (the brass one with the incredible bladder - Long story, that.) out on the waterfront.
I'm also very happy to say I had the chance to meet what had to be the most interesting group of people I've ever met. I didn't even want to leave the USA today. I wanted to keep hanging out with these awesome new friends.
There isn't much to go into specifics about, because most of those two days was spent hanging out with my friends. I very much hope that I'll see them all again soon.
