This is, to memory, the first book that has ever made me laugh and cry at the same time. What a book. It's difficult to describe. The writing is detailed without getting lost there. The characters are realized to the last. Not a punch was pulled but neither did it spiral into darkness. And the head-hopping was wonderful. What a wonderful book.

No idea what I'm reading next! I tore through Heartstoppers only to pump the breaks at the start of the chapter that's currently updating. The story has made me sit with my sorrow (it's a sweet story, I'm just a sorrowful person), and Oseman's craft has made me sit with my preconceived notions of what makes a comic good. The latter was unexpected, but I'm grateful, so grateful. I love you, webcomickers. No idea what I'm reading next!! 'Til then, heart
