Okay, I would like to start a Gaia Online Guild...
Not a HUGE one, but one that includes a good 50 or so members.
Now this Guild, unlike some of the "Fan Guilds" here on Gaia, will have a small, but positive agenda. Here is a small subversion of what we will have to offer.
wahmbulance - Free Rice | Free Rice is a program that is doing its best to solve world hunger. Their website FreeRice.com is one that gives both food for starving countries, as well as education to the masses. Here's the kicker, they will ask you a series of questions from a topic of your choosing. For each successive correct answer, a bounty of donators will give 10 grains of rice into a large pool, which will be distributed world wide. It takes 29,000 gains to make 1 pound of long grain white rice. Each question answers quick, (I can answer about 20 a minute at my best), and they range getting more difficult as it continues. wahmbulance - Positive support for Gaia Artists. This means that we will feature you on our guild page, and we will expect our members to take a look at the art. We will rate "5 of 5" no matter the artistic quality. However, we will offer extensive artistic critique. The the same goes for writers, authors, poets, and photographers. We will support artists.
wahmbulance - General knowledge? Is there anything... and we do mean anything, that you want too know how to do or you want an answer too. One of our members should be able to help you out ^___^. If we don't know the answer, we will find someone who can. ninja We will do our best to make sure you have the power of knowledge at your fingertips.
wahmbulance - Guild support? Is their something you would like for the good of your guild or some service you can provide for us, let us know. We are willing to support everyone who asks for our assistance... even if we hate you ^___^. Please assist our guild growth when we assist yours is our only request. If you need more than a little help, we may require a direct fee. Sorry. This is mostly for advertizement budget.
wahmbulance - Activity? Yep activity is our main goal, we are wish to have sanctioned Guild activities eventually. These will take the form of monthly prizes and Guild subgames. We also intend on having a "Guild Point" somewhere is Gaia Towns, from this point we will begin to spread from that point and make a "Guild Headquarters" like area. When we have the ability, we will even pay your movement fee ourselves... promise.
