so i never did write a journal....

But i did play ALOT of ZOMG!...i miss it. I can't believe it's gone. WHY?!?!?!
It's like i've lost a friend. Alot of friends.

No nore Easter egg hunt craziness. No more Halloween costumes. No more Christmas trees in the town center. No more randomly killing gnomes and fluffs for fun.
I'm so sad. Honestly.
ZOMG! wasn't my first mmo. But it was the first free one.

I recently came back *or tried to* to the game because my life got better and i was able to get online again and play. I knew everyone would still be here, most of my friends were as addicted to the holiday events as I was. We would only play as a huge group once a year; for Easter, but then break into smaller groups to kill some bosses or random gnomes for the rest of the year. The massive coordination effort it took to spread out all over the different areas, watch the forums for sighting reports, and then hustle over to the EGG, made me love this online community.

But most of them are gone. And it's because ZOMG! is gone.

So why is it gone!? I want to cry. crying I feel silly saying that, redface and especially because it's true and i feel that way because i'm not a kid anymore. But it's a special part of my childhood that died when i wasn't looking.

I'm sure the outcry for the game to remain active was massive, so why didn't they listen to us?

Are we not important anymore? eek

I realize that Gaia is a business, but ZOMG! bonded us and kept us engaged.
But i guess since some of us are still kids, our chat image is what matters most. So kids will still spend real money on that. I have too, so I'm not judging. But it makes me sad that that's what has become more important.

Maybe I'm being selfish, because I really wanted to play with all my friends again. But since i'm not the only one, i don't feel bad about it.
