Hey, everyone.....I NEVER write in this thing, so I finally decided to do so.........About what you ask? Well, let's just say the one thing that I'm completely obsessed about: FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST!!! Yup. You guessed it. Anyways, if you don't what it's about, here's the basic story (I know it by heart because I've seen all the episodes and the movie four times! XD)
--> Edward and Alphonse Elric were raised by their very kind mother in a small country town called Resembool. Their father left them when they were very young. Over time, their mother, Trisha Elric, missed their father more and more, and became very ill. She eventually died, and the boys were devastated. They tried to bring her back using alchemy, a kind of magical science, but unfortunately, Equivalent Exchange wasn't on their side that night.......To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange...For their mother's soul, Ed and Al offered drops of their blood, which is also her blood. "If you take out the myth, it's just the spark that starts life...Our blood...from her blood...that's a fair trade."- Ed (older brother; 11 years old then) However, performing a human transmutation is strictly forbidden by the State, and Ed was too reckless to listen to Al's warnings about the laws.......Ed ended up loosing a leg in the transmutation, and Al lost his whole body, but Ed sacrificed his right arm in order to be able to attatch Al's spirit to a nearby suit of armor. Later on, Edward has his limbs replaced with auto-mail (mechanical body parts), and he and his younger brother Al head out to go to Central (the nation's capital) and Ed tries out to become a State Alchemist (Al does, too, even though Ed didn't want him to) "I told you, Al, that's not your burden. You just have to take care of yourself." - Ed.....Edward decided to become a State Alchemist so that he could take advantage of the military's research funding and more easily search for the legendary Philosopher's Stone, a mythical gem that amplifies alchemic reactions and ignores the law of Equivalent Exchange. If they could find it, then they could return their bodies back to normal again.....................................................
