~This poem is about a young girl and her life is becoming a wreck because her best friend just passed away. She describes him as the sun in her life and when he dies theres nothing but darkness.~
~A Storm Inside~
Clouds
Patch the sky
With quiet streams of light
Loud thunder roaring
Coming from great heights
Wet on the ground
Wet in the sky
Nothing but darkness
While the sun says goodbye
Rain
Coming down
Like the teardrops I cry
Why does this happen
Why oh why
Wet on the ground
Wet in the sky
Nothing but darkness
While the sun says goodbye

~God Must be Crying~
The darkened sky is gloomy and dead
While the water droplets hit the top of their heads
Feet squish against the wet ground
The wind howls like a pained blood hound
God must be crying
Black umbrellas’ all spot the streets
The air is heavy like a humid summer heat
People all run, trying to get out of the storm
Reaching out quickly to get on the other side of the door
God must be crying
The angry lighting beats in the sky
Thunder roars like a radio tuned on high
God must be crying
It’s something normal on earth
Nothing different to expect
It may not frighten most people
But for some it’s a wreck
God must be crying
My father must be crying
The darkened sky is gloomy and dead
While the water droplets hit the top of their heads
Feet squish against the wet ground
The wind howls like a pained blood hound
God must be crying
Black umbrellas’ all spot the streets
The air is heavy like a humid summer heat
People all run, trying to get out of the storm
Reaching out quickly to get on the other side of the door
God must be crying
The angry lighting beats in the sky
Thunder roars like a radio tuned on high
God must be crying
It’s something normal on earth
Nothing different to expect
It may not frighten most people
But for some it’s a wreck
God must be crying
My father must be crying
