I'm temporarily quitting Gaia. I have a lot of bad stuff I have to deal with at school, at home, and with myself; and I don't have much time or energy anymore to remain very active. My heart is also heavy from the hackers, the scammers, the botters, the trollers, the giveaways, the stereotypes, the hype, the drama, and the commercialism that is corrupting Gaia. This online community has changed so much since I first joined, and I do not like where it is headed.
It doesn't matter so much that I'm quitting, because most of you see me daily in real life, anyways. You can still reach me at nikki_swimmer_84@hotmail.com, if you must. I don't know when I'll be back, maybe never. I'll log in occasionally to RP in DNY (The only thing that has stayed the same all these years), but other than that... adios, everyone. sad

Isn't it ironic that with every day that passes, summer seems like it's slipping further away? I can no longer keep up with the schoolwork given to me, and I am at the end of my rope. I have to read The Jungle, write a 10-page thesis, complete a massive Biology home unit, prepare for SOLs and APTs, film a movie in Spanish, complete ID assignment one after another, read The Sun Also Rises, volunteer hours for NHS and NAHS, get ready for finals, and so much more. Every day that goes by, another project is assigned; another test is scheduled. I can't take it anymore! sad
Nobody understands me at home, either! mad

Yes, a real journal entry with real sentences about my real life! Ooh. Wait-- Citizen has a life? *Ahem*
Where do I begin? School is going OK for me, you know how it is. Junior year in the middle of March. God, I can't believe it's been a full year since I had that awful breakdown. Well, it's not going to happen this year!
Yesterday was a really interesting day for me. I got to see Black Cat Godess, which was a totally awesome surprise! I missed you so much! Then, I finished my homework before school and the fun continued.
I'm in Sociology this year, and March 10 is very special because all the sociological projects are conducted. There are gorilla-men riding scooters down the hallways, crossing guards, and an awesome dancing panther! Lunch time for me was a real pain because I had to dance to Switchfoot in the cafeteria and try to get other people to dance with me for free ice cream. It was sort of emberassing, and after the 30 minutes, I was really tired because I was sick. Mr. Dulman (what a p***k) got really mad at me, and 1/4 of the school was looking at me funny. A few people actually did dance with me, so I felt less awkward. Lol, I can't wait for Monday to tell them that there really isn't any free ice cream! X__X
I went home early again because I was really wiped from dancing while sick (ok, ok, I admit part of the reason why I left was because I felt so emberassed!). Then, my day got better again, because I got to sleep! And when I woke up, everyone was home and we watched The Departed. It's a really great movie, but I thought it would be a lot better as a novel. Bwahahaha, while I did that, nearly half of the other Juniors in my class were studying for the SAT (Sorry, SnowQuartz)! That put the icing on the cake. twisted
Today I did a lot of schoolwork and basically chilled. I even got to work on the drawing for Gaia. I hope it gets chosen for the "Going Postal" page; I'm putting all my heart and soul into it. Tonight is "Only Child Night" because my brother is going to a friend's birthday party. That leaves me with a few hours of peace and quiet, a really great tofu dinner (I like tofu-- shut up!), and the movie, Marie Antoinette. It's supposed to be a really good movie, and hey, any story about a person so rich and so spoiled that she helped to spark a depression and revolution in an entire country has got to make a great film!
Well. There is a nice and meaty journal entry for you all. Enjoy! (:

Warning: I drank coffee for the very first time today, so do not continue if journal entries written in all caps offends you.
I went to school today, wrote a KICK-a** SOL essay. Seriously. I bet you my CoCo I got a 100%. This essay was hand-crafted so perfectly, it would make CHUCK NORRIS MR. KIM CRY. Too bad they wouldn't let me keep it. I hope that whoever reads it is touched and will frame it in their office after giving me a perfect score.
And now for something anti-climatic: I went home sick. Just didn't feel like going through Comp. Religions. Too damn depressing.
My ordered zombie doll that is also pretty tight:
Item List: Anti-Fashion Aqua-Pink Head Wrap Anti-Fashion Green Anti-Accessory Asphalt Plaid Ska Pants Black Stockings Black Strapless Bra Blush Taj Shoes Decorative Daisy Emo Glasses Outlaw Biker Shirt - Ashe
Estimated Total: 9,149 Gold (Estimated with known item values on 18 March 2007)
Seyaka Yeah, a lot of people on Gaia are stupid. Oh, I was wondering, can I have your guitar since you're leaving?

Well, great. I'm really sick... again. I think I have mono, because all the swimmers in our school do. At least school was cancelled today due to inclimate... *Checks window* Well, maybe our principal just plain didn't feel like getting up this morning. Whatever.
Since I have nothing better to do than schoolwork, I've decided I'll take a shot at drawing fanart for Gaia and maybe even getting it on the Going Postal page. Coolio.
*coughcoughhackDIE* mad Being sick sucks.

It features two episodes of one of my all-time favorite animes-- Serial Experiments Lain, and it features a song from one of the hottest bands of today-- PANIC! At the Disco. Is it a winning combonation? Please, let me know!

Background Information: Evas doesn't have much memory about her past or her powers-- they all seem like a big, weird accident to her. She doesn't recall her parents or have many friends because weird things always seem to happen around her when she is upset...
