Chapter 2: Down hill from here

Jim woke up at 8:am on the sunday morning to his mpty house. He did relize that all he was wearing was his boxers when he heard a knock at the door. He ran to open it to see Amy was standing outside in the frezzing rain. "Amy? Why are you here? Come in." Amy walked in and Jim relized he was just wearing boxers. He ran to his room putting on his normal black and saggy pants. "Ok so why are you here?"
"My mom was drunk and her boyfriend was there and he was too... They were actting really bad and I had to leave.... I got no sleep..."
"Don't you have friends you can go to?"
"No"
"That sucks.... Hmmm.... Well, you can crash here, my beds in the first door on the right."
Amy nodded and walked into his room. She took off her wet clothing all the way to her bra and underwear. "You can take one of my shirts." Jim yelled from the living room as he grabed a cup of coffee. Amy took one of his shirts. He layed down on his bed and curlled up. She closed her eyes smiling Jim, No one ever knew this but Amy had a huge crush on him. And since Jim never told anyone that he liked her too they never got together. He feel asleep to it covering up with his blanket and pulled it all the way up so that she could smell Jims sent. Jim finished his cup of coffee and walked down to the basement were he worked out every morning before taking a shower. He streched first and then got dressed in a pair of running shoes and shorts. He then got on the tread mill and ran for 10 miles like he alwasy did. He didn't relize that Amy was watching him. She coulding fall asleep so she was sitting on the steps watching him.
When Jim finished his run, he got off and walked over to his bench, he put on 200 punds and started bench pressing 4 sets of 20 reps, 20 seconds rest in between. He finished and grabed his protian shake and dtrank it in one gulp. "These things are nasty." He scowled, he then walked to the stairs and flinched seeing that she had fallen asleep on the stairs with her head against the wall. He picked her up in her arms and started to walk her back to his room. She layed her head against his bare chest and sighed happyly. Jim blushed at this and layed her back down and covered her up. He then got in the shower and washed off.
He got out and got dressed in his white saggy and baggy jeans, his socks and white convers and no shirt. He walked put to the living room and sat down on the couch turnning hte tv on and then his xbox 360 playing some Left 4 Dead. His favorit game. He played for 2 hours and got up to grab something to eat for lunch, at this time Amy walked in behind.
"Hey..... Sorry I slept here un annouced...."
"oh its fine, don't worry about it. Would you like something to eat? I'm making french toest and eggs."
"Um... Sure I guess."
"Comen right up. Go to the dinning room table."
She sat at the table and waited for him. He came in and gave her a plate with some silverwear. He sat down on the other side of the table and started to eat. She did the same and they ate in silence.
"So why did you have to leave your moms?"
"Because when my mom gets drunck she gets very flirty. And when her boyfriend gets drunck he gets abussive. And he trys to rape my mother."
"Oh wow that sucks."
"Yeah...."
They finished and he washed off the plates and walked into the living room. He sat down on the couch and she sat next to him. He started to play the game.
"I love this game! Can I play?"
"Sure, grab a controller."
They played for a couple of hours when her phone rang. She answered and listen to her hungover mother for a moment. Then hung up.
"Its time for me to go home."
"Ok, well, come anytime."
Amy got dressed and left the house. Jim grab a drink of coke and sat down and read a book. It turned 10pm and he went to bed.
