I have been rather scarce lately. Why? Work is a pain. That is all.

Okay, we have achievements. Just what they are and why do they not work at times, is something I would like to ask myself. But they are there and I have a small few. Because people are weird and I am weirder. I do not know.
So anyways, I changed my outfit to reflect a more Kurorin-tastic style. Unfortunately, he does not wear stuffed animals on his head. He loves badly fitting hats. I bought a couple hats but I am just not as big of a fan of the hats as he is. So my version is going to wear the Kiki kitty.
Also. I want to buy a Yoshkitty. They look so glompable.

I find a lot of things head scratching on this place these days. Like sarcasm has changed a bit. Also the whole fish thing is fun but I keep on forgetting that they are there. And that game zomg or whatever it is is a bit on the addicting side when the servers are lagging so horribly so. And for some reason I have a lot of things I didn't know I had.
But I am enjoying this and I am having a bit of a blast. I'm avoiding posting much in the Writers boards only because I just don't know these peoples save a small few. I keep on drifting over to the Music forums and especially the International board but I don't think we're on the same wave length. For one, there is that annoying trend of going for the pretty groups. Not that mine isn't pretty, I just am not fond of the whole weirdness that is whatever they are suppose to be. Maybe I am stuck on the DA Family a little too much. IDK.
So that's it for now. I am still having sniggle fits over my new jug of grogg but that is me.

How long has it been? No, really? how long?
Well. I never. I guess some times old pirates must come back to the place where they once had fun. Even if they don't know a single thing.

It's been a while, but I am now back to prod people and to swill rum at the A&A. I just have to remember what I was doing and why I was doing it there...
And I am currently in silly mode, which is different than snarky mode by about two degrees. Snarky and silly are nearly in the same location by way of the twisted mind. I also have way too many Draco's running around learning stuff from my Farfarellos. Not a good combination altogether.

If things were bad do you think they would get worse? If things were worse, do they usually get bad? What is the differences between words and why can't people understand them? How come a lot of prose has to end up purple?

Another reason why I didn't get NaNo done as fast as I wanted to was because of a story I am co-writing. It's Draco and Hermione, set ten years after Voldemort's fall and we are posting it up on Livejournal. You can find it at http://www.livejournal.com/community/romance_of_odds/
Enjoy.

I had a lot of fun this year. The thrill of finding the elusive word, the heart pounding terror at not making to the goal, the interesting people found on the forums. I didn't reach the goal of 50,000 words this year, and it's the third, fourth time I have been in NaNo. Yet, I am proud of my accomplishment. I had reached an all time high word count... well not really since I do have a couple of fanfictions past that amount of words, but for my NaNos it's a high.
What have I learnt? That I really got bored with trying to write in dialect for the pirate characters. I also had problems trying to show instead of telling since this is still a first draft.
I am going to stick to this story even though NaNo is over. I have been trying to write it for years, and I know that I can get it done. It's just trying to stay with it and to tell myself that yes, I can write.
Can we say arrrg?

Today is a great day. Today I got the Star Wars Trilogy on DVD. In WideScreen. Oh the memories, the smell of the buttereed popcorn and hot dogs and cotton candy and all the pop I could want. The neighbors with their portable BBQ grill and oh the way the scenes filled up the night sky and the sounds came across the speakers like they were happening around me. I had gone to see Gilligan's Island movie and got hooked onto a simple tale of Light vs. Dark using space ships and lightsabers. I was seven and it was a drive-in movie theater when I first saw Star Wars. And what a magical day it was.
