My birthday was uneventful, but it was good since I got to chill out.
I got:
Black DS Lite (mom got a deal on it!)
First 4 DVD's of Trinity Blood (never seen it)
Some skull head scarves.
Some skull watches.
Pirate Pen
^^ Pretty modest haul, but I'm satisfied.

Heavy work schedules suck, but what can I do?
I've got a mule I've been attacking the AMC with and I'm afraid I let it consume the latter portion of my gaia time. Oops. sweatdrop

So I was checking my fishtank the other night and doing the usual (feeding, adding water, talking to them). And it was then that I noticed movement in the grasses at the bottom. I got down on my knees and stared hard into the tank when, lo, there was the smallest, tiny baby orange fish I'd ever seen.
You can imagine my shock. eek
In a panic I ran around wondering what to do or where it had come from. Then I realized that my swordtails must be expecting. Sanji (ladies man as he is) had knocked up both the females and they had large bellies.
Looking up baby swordtails online, I learned if left in the tank...they get eaten by the parents or other fish. However, there was nothing I could do then (at 6 am) so I went to bed, excited and scared for the poor little baby cowering in the reeds.
The next morning, I ran downstairs and announced the new life. Everyone went to look at once, but we couldn't find it. My heart sank. After moving a few things it finally popped up! Still, I couldn't do anything until after work.
That night I drove home quickly with a newly bought fry net. I built it and put it in and waited to see if it'd come out. After a few agonizing moments, he swam up to me and i fished him out carefully and let him out in his new (safer) home.
Now it's a tiny bit bigger, eats flake bits and has the tiniest little stripe on its side. No name yet, but I'd like to name it (no gender yet) something One Piece related to keep my theme going. Any ideas?

I'm making a Silent Hill themed house. Sadly nothing on the floors or walls works.

Any suggestions? It's based off the room you walk into in SH2 with the dead guy and the TV.

Apparently One Piece tarot cards exist.
I bought them.
The book is in chinese and the cards have a couple typos in them (tou is "two" wink but it's probably one of the strangest anime things I've gotten yet.
Now to look up how to do readings online. This should prove for good fun.
