These past few days I forewent
The dwellings of my common path
For on murky waters the passage bent
And an evening I spent at the eye of thunder's wrath
It was somewhere in the night that it was perceived to me
while I could no longer count the steps of the sun
That reality had no reason to be
But for the way that reason made water to run
It starts with the sun's endless torment
Soaking up the viridian bath
And then beset by the moon's brilliant relent
The sea churning under the night's starry lath
The river unfurls from the current in valiant fury
Like bullets on the chase from the barrel Poseidon's loaded gun
The high seas resist the hurricane's hellacious flurry
All for the countenance of one
The Current softly rocks my body
I cannot feel it
Taste it
Touch it
But I can hear it in my heart
The relentless current of souls
From the yonder stars unto me.
The current of the ending
The current from ocean to sea.
