Yes... I am putting in a random entry strictly to promote the Benevolent Order of the Overseer. *laughs* Without giving any information on where I've been or what I've been doing since the last time I posted a journal entry.

So sue me. 4laugh

Okies... After the Buffy the Vampire Slayer tv series had it's finale, I found this show Haunted in which the main character was a cop who after nearly dying while trying to catch his son's kidnapper/killer returns to the living as an unwilling median who can see and hear & often communicate in other ways with the dead. All the good ol' things like he & his wife have a falling out & are divorced now, lost his job and is now a PI... you know, the typical stuff that happens to people like that in tv & movies. He ends up having to use this new 'gift' of his to help solve cases, usually to find murderers & the like though sometimes the dead are trying to save the living. Of course I loved it and actually watched every week. The Series only made it to 12 episodes in the States, with an extra 13th episode in the UK. Needless to say, I was majorly bummed when one day I sat down to watch the next episode and it just wasn't there. O_o No warning or anything. grr.

Anyway... there was this one episode in particular that I loved. He was investigating a missing girl only to find her dead & then have to figure out who killed her. It was music centered, so booyaka! -another plus. Anyway, he's following the trail of clues and meets this cute teeny-bopper girl that reminds my hubby & I of Rikku from Final Fantasy X. Instantly adore the character. She helps him out, giving him clues and stuff, just talking and telling him things about Paris, the dead girl, and what she was like, who she hung out with & things like that. So eventually he solves the case. Booyaka! heart Happiness & stuff! But now he's worried about the girl that had helped him. Can't seem to find her anywhere. So he mentions her to the dead girl's parent.... and come to find out she was Paris' little sister who died in a car crash some years previously. O_O woah.

So here's this awesome character with an awesome name. I was looking for a new name to use and I decided: that's the one I want! heart So I looked up the show online... only there's no mention of this character's name. *huffs* Okies. Fine. I'll spell it phonetically: Trel-wen-y. Trelweny. *grins* Now I use it everywhere. I must spell the name incorrectly, because I've never since I started to use it 6-7 some years ago had any problems getting it as a username anywhere. Which is totally cool. heart

So yea... anywhere there's a Trelweny... chances are extremely high that she's me! heart If it's an avatar based thing, I'll usually have blonde to honey-blonde hair, with a tendency to wear red, white, green, & gold. Sometimes blue... but not often.

I'm so accustomed to it, I really think of myself more as Trel than my given name. ^_^

*edits* which was totally proven when we went to Orlando for MegaCon & I answered to 'Trel' better than my own name. 4laugh

*edit* oh yeah... just for fun facts... the guy that played the lead in Haunted? He ended up on Lost. O_O Now, I never watched Lost, but I think his character -a doctor on the plane to bring his father's body home- was pretty important to the show's story in the end. So I guess it's not all bad, ja?

Right, so this is basically an update since it's been over a year since I posted a blog here. *sheepish* I've been busy... fairly addicted toand my Breedables/Changeables RolePlays here still. Though I DID get my main account back! Booyaka!! *dances around in* See? Much happiness & celebrating there. ^_^ Even if I am really late in making an official statement about it in journals or profiles.

Things on a whole have been busy and hectic. I'd go into details... but that could take quite some time. So instead I'll jump into the pretty awesome start of the new year. I'm back to taking classes to finish my degree (about time *sheepish*), lil'man's about to start preschool... which really I should have looked into before now, but better late than never. Mas vale tarde que nunca, si? wink Yeah... I probably butchered the spelling of the Spanish... *raspberries in your general direction*

Still trying to sell our house... so not fun with today's selling market. Looking into talking to a lawyer about best way to be rid of it. Might be seeing about a short sale. Really don't want to pay for a house we don't need.

Back to happier note: We're going to MegaCon in March!! Booyaka!! Will be fun, just me & the lil'man. <3 If you're going, look for me as my Gaia Avatar (see the art to the side of my profile? The femme with the short red skirt? That's gonna be me! ... I need to get more in shape... O_o) on Friday and at the Gaia Dance Saturday night, and cosplaying as Trisha Elric on Saturday... with the lil'man as his avi & little Alphonse respectively. At least that's the plan at the moment. ^_^ Have to get some more stuff together & all that. Shouldn't be too hard.

I know there's more, but I'm getting tired and there's RPs to reply to and homework to read while the lil'man's asleep. wink God bless!

Why does it seem I only use my journal to rant anymore? *laughs*

Well on today's rant the subject is picture. Yup. A picture. See, my mom found this image she really loved once. I saw it too... Now I've no idea where. Heck... I can't even remember when we saw it. It's a black & white image of a dragon, kind of in this circular pose. It's really gorgeous.

Now the really interesting thing is that this picture is an optical illusion picture, sorta like the Maiden & The Hag where sometimes you see the young girl, sometimes the old woman. In this case, the other image is a unicorn.

See? Lovely! I can still see it in my mind's eye.

Now if only I can find an image of it anywhere.... that's where the grrr comes in! gonk

We're going to see the Wiggles in concert tonight! I think I'm excited enought for both Theron & I. *grins* He'd be excited if he understood, I think. He loves watching the Wiggles everyday... we've far too many Wiggle DVDs. Theron knows lots of the dances -when he wants to do them of course. I'm hoping he's in the mood to do so tonight. whee

First, I gotta vent a bit. Had no internet last weekend 'cause the family router is in my brother's room & he took all the PC stuff out for his new desk, right? No problem. That happens. Well in hooking everything up he & my mom have a bit of a fight 'cause he can't get the router to work & she needed to get online to look up stuff she needed for a class she's taking. So he made her go to the store at midnight or something to get a new router.

Next day... & I can't get any signal from any router. *sighs* the new router didn't have the strength of our other one & couldn't reach the basement. I ask mom why bro didn't use the one we had working before... she tells me the story above. Brother is at work, I decide to leave the 'new' router's wires & hook up the 'old' router with them (including the ac adaptor). Works fine.

Mom wants to take the 'new' router back tonight. Has my bro get the pieces together, including the ac adaptor we're using. No internet. He changes the wires & ac adapter. No internet. Why the hell is he blaming the router? My dad & I go to see. I'm cranky, 'cause this all happened while I was online & RPing still... & other stuff. Other RL stuff. I end up deciding that we'll just use the 'new' ac adaptor until I get back from visiting Timex's family. I really don't have time for this. While I'm doing that, Papa notices that the 'bad' adaptor is 3volt while the 'good' or working adaptor is 5volt. I hear, but I'm too upset to register it. Later, Papa & I figure it out: Brother didn't keep wires & things with equipment they belonged to, 3volt likely goes to his phone, extra 5volt that bro claims goes to his printer (WTF? rolleyes ) is probably the right adaptor... & my brother is a re-re.

The most annoying thing? He's smart. He really is. He's just lazy & doesn't bother to do things the way he knows he should. Worse than that, he won't listen. He likely won't learn from this great little lesson.

So. Bloody. Annoying.

Anyway, Theron & I are off to a weekend of family reunions & Christmas In August with Timex's family. *hugs all* Wish us luck! I'll either be back late Sunday night or sometime Monday!

As for my Gaian Familiy: we're having a fun-filled family weekend! Probably not Quidditch *can almost hear Remus' sigh of relief & the Weasleys complaints* because we'll need to practice everyone’s broomstick riding first. I'm thinking dance offs or separating the genders for mini parties. *grins to herself* the later is starting to sound really fun.
