The story of a Neo-Nazi discovering the error of his ways whilst he lives in prison for three years after killing two black people trying to steal his dead father's truck. Once free from prison he uses his newly discovered folly to try and save his brother but tragedy strikes as the youth is gunned down by a thug due to a previous tift.
This movie made me gro through a plethera of emotions. First, I wanted to become a Neo-Nazi, to hate and to cause suffering to those that I felt deserved it. As the movie progressed and I realized the main character was trying to reveal he had changed, I too began to change. I, as the character, realized that living in a world of hatred is not a world worth living in. There is only hatred because there is ignorance. Educate those around you and the world will have peace.
This movie is definitely going down as one of the all time greatest. Now I understand why my sister always rented this movie back when she was in highschool (and why I wasn't allowed to watch it at the mere age of 13). It opens my eyes to a world I can't even begin to imagine and shows the destructive capabilities of someone engulfed in hatred.
I have no real conclusion, because the story really isn't over. Until there is acceptance this work shall remain unfinished...
