Name: Arcana Core Type : Minor Artifact Description: Appearances may differ but the Core is usually a small object that could be held in one hand. Cores often appear as mundane items in relation to their time period, such as a cell phone in the 20th century or as a larger than normal coin in the 1200s. To its owner the Core is weightless and functional. Effects: A Core does not grant its owner any special powers, but rather augments the abilities that the owner already possesses. While the Core may not be sentient by most standards it does have strange sense possession and will go to great extents in order to get back to its "Owner." Most commonly the Core will teleport into its owner's possession if the the owner is a short distance away. Should anything ever prevent the Core from teleporting to its owner, or should the distance be outside its range, the Core will try and influence its way back to its owner by tapping into the subconscious-es of those around it. Powers: The Arcana Core has the power to teleport itself over a short distance and across dimensions. The Core also acts as a sort of communication device and allows its owner to communicate with other owners of whom's Core they've come into contact with over any distance. An Arcana Core also has the ability to choose its owner, and often is the case where owner is not the first person to have been in possession of it. Purpose: It is unknown what the purpose of the Arcana Core is and there are many theories. Most popular of theories is that the Arcana Core is a product of a long forgotten war where it was use by armies in order to communicate and coordinate efforts.
