Everything in our world revolves around a power source called "Mana". Mana is as essentail to the world as water and oxygen. With out it our planet would probably die. They say the core of our planet is a mass source of mana. Mana runs through the veins of every living thing. When a new life is born, some new mana is born to support the life. So if a body is drained of mana, it will eventually die. Scientist studied mana to find the components that make it up. In most people the components are the same, just that some had more mana than others. 10 years ago they came across something strange. In one child they found they found an extra mystery component they found in no other. It gave the boy special unique abilities. They called this component " Ryoka".


My story begins here in the city of Benhime. A boring, nothing special city. The same old nothing special things happened everyday. I wanted an exciting adventure filled life. My name is Zero Kamiya. I was an orphen, til big sis adopted me. I live with my two sisters Riku and Misty. Misty the oldest 21. Riku is 15, but she doesn't look it. Me, I'm 13 the youngest. Misty was also an orphen adopted by an old lady. She eventually passed, then she enheirted her house. With two extra rooms. So she passed on her blessing and adopted me and Riku.


Now I live "freely", I use that word loosely, in the city. " Zero, breakfast is ready!" Riku called from the kitchen. I walked down stair and sat at the table. " Guess what we're having?" Riku said fiddling in the pot. " Lemme guess uh eggs." I said resting my head in my hand. Riku turned quickly from the pot setting her eyes on me. " How did you know?" she questioned. I sighed, " Riku you realize we've had eggs every breakfast for two weeks." I stated. " Always the same old stuff." Riku was flushed red. " Oh well I'm cooking a surprise for dinner today." she said. I rolled my eyes before answering. " Ramen soup right." She was shocked. " Uh no... what gave you that idea?" she asked. I leaned back and tilted my chair back and fourth. " Well whenever you cook, you cook in a pattern, so it's easy to tell." She set my plate in front of me. " Just shut up and eat." She said sitting.


" Did you see Misty this morning?" I asked Riku who was stuffing her face. " Well...she...was...gone..... early this moring." she said in between spoons of food. After that we didn't really have much to talk about. We sat silently finishing our food. The silence was broken due to a knocking on the door. I got up from my seat and answered. The door swung open. Two girls stood there silently. One with long black hair. The other with short brown. " Hi, uhh you here for Riku right. She's busy stuffing her face, but come in" I said. The girls stayed quite and went around the table. " Riku I'm gonna go change, be back in a minute." I said stretching my arm. I run upstairs to get changed. " Oh Riku your brother is so cute." The long haired girl said. " Yeah I love his long silver hair." The short haired girl said.
