Oh yes, that time had rolled around again, time for another halloween. I remember my first gaia halloween, it was the first event I experienced here. I had joined at the end of July and was pretty much still a fresh faced newbie. I remember the first one everything turned orangish, all the titles bars and borders and what not, and our big event was the trick ortreating.

My how things have changed, we have zombie shooting, human biting, involving storylines, all in addition to trick or treating. Lag was bad the first year but no where near this level. I managed to snag 4 or 5 items on a very limited schedule. This year it took me the entire 2 days to even get 7 jack bags, and only a zombie shirt. But still I loved what they did this year with the event. It was so much fun watching labtech 13 come back and start biting everyone. That was a hoot! So I give a hearty thanks to all those involved in making this event possible!!!!

Oh on a side note, I randomly met another gaia user in RL today at school. We were both in the lab, I was trying for my final bag, when I glanced over and say gaia up on another computer, it was a complete OMG eek We ended up talking a little until I had to go to class, but it was pretty intresting running into another gaia user in RL. So betta12345 if your reading this heyo!

Yay halloween theme is up! I can't believe its been a year already. I was still fairly new in gaia 1 year ago at this point. I was running around with basic clothes and this same bag on my head! Hehehe, today is also nyo23's bday party! Happy bday nyo! Got her a mehtro T, I hope she likes it!

Had a presentation today on the progress of our videogame for class, it went less than stellar, seems a lot of the class is way ahead... *sniff* Guess its time for even more work gonk ! I hope things start looking up soon, I've been so swamped that I haven't been keeping up with my charity. Oh wells I hope to do another giveaway soon!

You know what I got to do this weekend? A whole lotta nothing. Nothing says fun like a weekend of programming. Spent all friday, saturday, and today programming. Except for the 6 hours I worked on Saturday.

Yep living it up hardcore. Finished one basic program in C++, and now onto another one for Newton's method combined with bisection approximation. How late will I be up tonite? Any bets?

OK seriously wtf is it about gunbound that makes people idiots? Is it the demographic? Or something I don't understand about the effects cute little avatars and cute tanks have on people?

Seriously is there a gunbound bar that serves up rage-ahol??? Everyone is perpetually angry in that game, any mistakes result in a OMG f**king n00b, go and die your motherf**ker. Honest to god what is wrong with people, they get a cockhead complex when they play this game, especially when they totally outrank you. Is it an accomplishment to wail on new people and make fun of them for sucking when they are new at it and don't have all the upgrades/powerups you do? Are these the same people that get off on beating up 3rd graders?

Gah! The idiocy of people who play this game is astonishing, I've never seen such a collective group of idiots. I love this game as long as the players are cockheads, but I can't play a decent game without it turning into a flamewar. Any thoughts on this???? I'm so pissed off tonight because of that game, not so much getting owned by people who outclass me by way more than several levels, but by the players and their attitudes. What ever happened to good old fashioned competition and fun gaming???? And here I thought maybe as I climb the ranks the players on an equal level will be better, but nope, its an ugly place up top, even worse than on the bottom I think, I think their level of retardedness is in direct correlation with their game level.

UGH! No more GB for tonite! Post your thoughts if you have any. I think I need to do a psych/sociology study on this game.

Just finished up my Power Point presentation on direct play for my video game programming class, that was fun! Hmm lesse how'd my day go? I'd say pretty boring, had classes..... um.......... classes... yeah.....

Oh I did fix a loose network card at home. Whooooo impressive huh? (note the sarcasm) Then played a bit of SC where I had my butt throughly whomped by the computer!!! Bah! Next time its GB where I can throughly whomp! Anyone up for that? Or maybe its time to recontinue Diablo II.

Ugh spent my entire night upgrading my windows xp pro installations to SP2, what a pain that was. Weird errors that took forever to fix, I'm dead tired so that is all!

2) Numerical Analysis, yep no idea whats going on there.

3) Spanish, yep got some tedious homework due Friday.

4) Formal Logic I - Completely Illogical!!!!! scream

5) Behind work on character models and textures for videogame.

6) Start project for object oriented programming class.

7) Abandon social life!

Well I'm bored and decided to check this all out. Of course it'll probably tweaked to my liking as soon as I have time to mess around with it.

I'm pretty much done with school for the day, and will fart around for the rest most likely. Spanish midterm was a breeze! Whoo!

Charity Chat: Well have some staffer considerations to look into. I dunno if there can be such thing as too many staffers? I dunno, but I have a few names in mind to invite to be staffers. Also have to get the staffers together soon to do the voting on the new sig, have to figure out what my new ftp is to upload all these to. I think that'd be it. Ciao!
