Hi today I was lurking in Gaia General Discussion and a thread stated, how AT is rude to it avatar and explains why.
Well I replied to his thread, and I was on his side too.
AT is getting very stupid and not even brilliant anymore. The user stated that the current trend in avatar is all cluttered matched up items and color making the avatar look crap and no style.
I did have an encounter in the pass AT in a rating thread as the user pointed out my avatar was crap * the current avatar * and need more black at the bottom where my legs are etc etc essentially she wants everything on my avatar covered with my black and white accents. Well my avatar looks amazing right now and I won't change it either because it is perfect right now. All those avatar raters think that they are right They should be smacked and wake up. Following Trends is alright with moderation. But Enforcing that Trend on all your Rates then your not respecting user's avatar.
I still know some old pioneers in the Avatar world but they seem to gone off to other worlds too because of this stupidity. AT isn't fun anymore or brilliant what so ever from the new avatars users are pumping out.
So I would end a advice on Avatars, you have control, imagination, creativity, style on making avatars you can use what ever you want.
