 Well, lets start with who he is when he's normal...
Wave Calders, a 9-year-old boy born and raised in San Francisco. Is loved by his mother, Sohpia, and bothered by his little sister, Kailye--His father, a marine biologist by the name of Jeremy Calders, disappeared several years back during a mysterious typhoon that attacked on an unnamed island he was on. He also has a pet ferret, whom is secretly his super-powered companion: Shark Dog.
Wave is a sport junkie. Rollerblading, skate boarding, surfing, and scuba-diving are among his favorites. He is also known to make many references or add a lot of ocean-based terms into his everyday speech naturally.
When he was 7 or so he set out surfing and a great wave tanked him. When he awoke he was on a curious island where a shark-shape rock made of pure black stone stood. On this stone was a curious shark tooth...which came out far too easily. This Shark Tooth pendent granted his powers based on powerful creatures of the sea, the base strength being that of a Mako Shark. This started his super hero life as....
Shark Hero appears to be in his late teens, though he's covered in what isn't exactly a suit so it's hard to tell. While he can attain different water beast abilities, like electric eel, he calls himself Shark Hero specifically due to how he appears and that he first gains Mako Shark strengths. He is still cocky and strong-headed. However, in both forms, he is actually not so naive about the world--Despite actually being a 9-year-old boy.
