I had so much fun in London I loved it!!!
The plane was on the 17th, came into London on the mornign of the 18th. I watched The Prestige, it was Ok, but really confusing, I did not get it at all. The food we had on the plane was interesting.I left my beloved pea coat in London, so I must go back xd . The Bed and Breakfast we stayed at was very nice. There was this group of students from Texas, doing a study Abroad program. I want to Study abroad now to London. I really feel in love with the city. It was so clean as well for a big city.
First day, we checked in. Then we walked around a bit, ended up at a Super Market, that was really cool. visited Virgin Records, and some clothing store, I eventually bought a hat and scarf from there. Then we went on a Walking tour. The guy was so boring, plus not sleeping for like 24 hours, including timezones and whatnot, did not help much. So I took lots of pictures, Big Ben was the main model for my pictures xd Plus the house of Parliament. Then we went to a Pub for dinner. It took forever. So the waiter, was going to offer Nora a Glass of Champagne, but of course someone said her age, and she is the youngest at 15, and he went "Bloody Hell" Then he gave the leaders the bottle, but they would not take it. I wanted a glass of Champagne xd .
Day 2 We took a walking tour, to the Globe theater. She showed us where the original Globe theater, and it was like, wow Shakespeare stood here one day. I was amazed. Then we went to the Globe theater. That was so amazing. The tour guide was nice, on some other levels too wink . The globe was amazing though. I wish that I could have seen a play there. I bought a pin, with a famous line from The Scottish Play ninja Macbeth ninja , "Out Damned Spot, Out I say". also these really cool, magnets with Shakespeare insults on them. Then we did the Jack the Ripper tour, not much known about him. But it was very cool.
Well I stopped writing in the journal at that point soo. you get randomness now, of what I saw XD.
I went to Covent garden that was a lot of fun, spent a lot of money. It was so neat, nothing like that around me. I saw Choram boy, that was amazing. I would recommend anyone to see it. I want to read the book now. We went to the Foundling museum, that was okies. I also saw Billy Elliot, that was sooo funny rofl Would recommend that one as well.
I think my favorite was the Tower of London, I had a blast there. I bought a lot of stuff there as well. I think we spent the most time there. We even got to go to the Ceremony of the Keys there at night, and that was really cool.
Lets see We saw the Tempest, but I was very disappointed by that. Quite boring, for a Shakespeare's play, and the set was awful, along with the costumes. I was hoping for more Shakespearian time's costumes. We also saw Kensington's Palace, that day, and I was very disappointed by that. Then we had High tea, for dinner, and it was okay, but I hated the Cucumber sandwiches. which was the only choice with the meal. At least the tea, scones, and cake was good. It was not worth the 10 pounds though.
We went to Hard Rock café one night. That was sooo cool. I loved it. I spent to much money on a hoodie there though xd . We were able to go into the Vault, and hold a bunch of guitars and such. I sat in Freddie Mercury's chair.
We went to Westminster's Abbey, that was pretty good. I got to see Elizabeth's I, tomb, and that was cool, she was one of the most intresting Queens to me. I got a book about her and Robin Dudley(one of her favorite advisor's plus her lover) Steph, said it was a good book anyways, she read it before. and, that I look forward to reading.
We also went to the Saturday Market, on Portabello road, that was a lot of fun as well.
I miss London, already, but it feels good to be back home. I miss the temperature as well, It is too cold at home
I think that is all I am going to add, there is a lot more, but I really should get this up. xd I do hope to Study Abroad there. Maybe internship at one of the museums there. Oh there goes my History buffness xd
