So I owe money to this INSANELY annoying, stupid girl who I had to spend time with last semester because she was a friend of the only real friend I had while I was abroad. There was a period of time where I couldn't withdraw any money from the bank, so I had to borrow it from whomever had enough to lend at the moment. Don't get me started on this story. Anyway, I owed her $20, since we figured out the conversion rate while still in Germany.
So today she sends me an email saying that I still owe her the money (yes, this is true), and that she wants the $20 ASAP. Fine. I'm kind of strapped for cash, but I do owe her, and I'm not about to try to cheat her out of anything. So not 5 minutes later, I give her the $10 I have on me and say, "I owe you 10."
So then she says, "It's more than that, isn't it?"
I respond, "Wait, I did give you a $10 bill, right? So I owe you 10 more."
She argues, "You owed me more than that."
Me: "I used to, but then I paid for stuff for you while in Germany, so the amount went down, and it was supposed to be $20 back in the States."
And so now she's saying that I owe her more than $20. If I didn't already hate her, this would REALLY do her in.
GRRRRRRR.
