Movement: Very agile and nimble with almost inhumanly good balance due to her tail. Not particularly fast but can run faster then the average human. She can pace herself but her overall endurance is low and she gets tired rather quickly.
Strength: Xem’s slightly above average strength only comes from her demonic blood and not because of muscle tone/fitness level. She can lift up twice her weight, more if in demonic rage or if adrenaline calls for it.
[Abilities/Powers]
Demonic Immunities: Xem’s demon blood makes her immune to all diseases and more tolerant of poisons/toxins. If poisoned the poison will take much longer to take effect then it would a standard human. After the poison reaches her system it may or may not have the desired effect due to the blood trying to resist the poison. So if a poison was meant to paralyze her it might only paralyze certain areas, ect.
Healing: Though not able to heal instantly unless feeding, Xem’s body repairs wounds at a much faster rate then humans, but it varies on how long it has been since she last fed. If the day of or day after the heal rate is 50% faster then normal and it goes down gradually every two to three days. During healing her blood will being to rapidly boil as the wound fuses closed from the outside in, stopping the bleeding first then repairing the inner tissues.
Horns: Xem’s horns are aprox. 6” long with a slight inward curve. Though not normally used in battle, they are more of a last ditch effort to win or escape. Normal use would be a powerful head butt to the abdomen area if possible.
Tail: Xem’s tail is mostly used to help her balance while sword fighting, but if fully prepared for battle she will sometimes tie a dagger onto it as a sort of third arm almost. Distracting her opponent with her sword then swinging her tail around for as a surprise attack. It can also be used to trip people or as a grappling device.
Fangs & Claws: All but the very back of Xem’s teeth are sharp canines used for tearing and chewing flesh. Normally would only be used in demon mode. She considers use of teeth as a form of dirty, improper fighting and will try everything else before resorting to using them for something other then eating. Her claws are more like sharp hard fingernails capable of small cuts and gashes. Claws are used more often then teeth if needed, often to distract an opponent while she readies her sword.
Air Control: A very weak ability, but still somewhat useful for distractions. It’s much like an airsoft rifle going off combined with the ability to make it flow where she wants it. Every time she uses this ability it gets a tiny bit stronger, but not enough to make a difference. Not often used in fighting the only use for it would be distracting opponents by a quick burst of air to the face or moving light objects around the environment. Leaves, feathers, dirt, ect.
Demonic Rage: After being considerably maimed/wounded Xem’s demonic blood takes the reigns as she goes into a blind rage. Clawing and biting are her main attacks when in her rage. She will go after the first enemy she sees and ruthlessly attack/maim the person before moving to her next victim. It is not uncommon for her to devour some part of her victim before moving onto the next as a way of healing. During the rage her eyes will go from their normal gray to blood red. Her strength is increased as well as speed. Her endurance stays the same and after killing/devouring up to three victims the rage has normally subsided due to feeding healing the worst of her wounds.

Xem doesn’t tend to wear much armor as it weighs her down considerably. If preparing for a particularly long battle she might fit some light chainmail under her clothing as well as a few layers of leather but nothing else other then her many layers of clothing protect her.

(Not So)Brief History: Xem was born and raised in Durem by both her parents. Her father was the head detective at the Durem Police Station and her mother a simple housewife. Xem took great interest in her fathers work and helped him solve his cases in anyway she could, normally following people down the alleys of Durem that she had grown fond of. Her father got put on a case trying to catch a very strange man. Her father wouldn't tell Xem about the case or anything about the man. Xem only knew that trying to catch this guy was driving her father crazy, and it got worse with each foiled attempt her father made until one day he couldn't take it anymore. After a long day of detective work Xem came home to find her father dead and her mother missing. Beside her fathers body laid a case file with a small note on top. The note was a simple suicide note from her father, though most of it was illegible. The case file belonged to the man that had driven her father crazy. She would find him and bring him to justice.... or so she planned however. Xem had taken to drinking, a sport she was quite good at. The alcohol constantly flowing threw her blood made her lose track of what she was doing with the case. She forgot much of what she had learned and most of her plans to catch him. Drunkenly she made a new one... she will catch this mans attention no matter what it takes. Little did she know that this would be the last sane thing she did.
Update to history: Since the inn visit, Xem has almost come to peace with her father's death. Catching the man is no longer her top priority. Though her mind is still messed up because of it.
