Hey everybody! Its been awhile since I've posted in here.. so I guess I might as well fill you in on whats happening in my life since I'm really bored D:

..::School::..
School is going somewhat well... Grade 12 is just as hard as everyone has made it out to be. I spend about 4-6 hours studying daily inorder to keep my marks up, and my average is currently 87.4%.

Calculus and Physics are the only courses that are really dragging me down... but I'm thinking of dropping physics, so woot. I currently have 99.5% (I hope my prof rounds up -_-) in Economics, so I might actually get into Schulich (a well known business university that has 90% average as its minimum requirement)

..::Gaia::..
I havent done any exchanging or vending whatsoever due to my studies... however, I've managed to rake in a truckload of cash through my various hoards ;D

my major hoards (atleast 1000 each) include:
- Grunnies
- Septembers & Forms
- Tomes & Augusts

and my smaller hoards (atleast 250) include:
- Oculi
- D Halos
- M Halos

I'm hoping to sell my hoards in several months and combine that gold with my 03's to buy back my grizzlur and then some... wish meh luck =P

High school has been pretty crappy for me when it comes to relationships O.o; all of them have ended in cheating / fighting / other issues so I vowed to stay single in grade 12... unfortunately, I might have to go back on my word soon =P

once again I'm love sick... I wont tell anyone what her name is as a lot of my IRL friends like.. stalk me on gaia.. but I really like her... shes different from all the others.
hopefully that goes well, I need someone to support me through all my studies and make my days bearable <3

Gaia is far from perfect. It, like all games, has its flaws. I've had friends banned unfairly. Items never returned to me after scammings. I've sat and watched many of my exchange brethren hacked before my eyes, and watch as the mods and admins of gaia do nothing to improve its security.

For three years now, I have been a proud member of gaia. Accepting all of its faults without uttering a single complaint.

But this new announcement truly pisses me off.



The vend is my life on gaia, as it is for many of my dear friends. 2% may not seem like much.. but that is a truckload of gold when you are selling 03s, or numerous 04s at the same time. For example.. my vend record (not including mules) is:

Serving Gaia since Fri May 14, 2004 10:27 pm with 8122 transactions, totaling 245990666 gold!

thats almost 5 million gold that would've been simply flushed down the drain.

What I don't get is their logic. Doing this will only cause even more inflation, as people have to sell stuff for higher in order to compensate for this loss.

well.. there better be some AWESOME features. Like the ability to put in as many items as you want at once. or something.

If not, I know I'm not going to be spending nearly as much time on gaia anymore.

how many of you believe in a little thing known as karma? The concept that doing harm to someone will eventually result in something harming you, but at a far larger magnitude?

ah but, karma works both ways. Doing something good for someone without expecting some kind of reward will result in something good also happening to you.

I want something more then anything... and I'm willing to try whatever it takes. so that got me thinking: what if I did a million little things to help people in order to result in something good happening to me?

for the past year, I've tried to help as many people as I possibly could. From carrying groceries for strangers to comforting friends. from donating on gaia anonymously to giving money to my friends for lunch and going without a lunch myself.

Karma has never been proven to exist or anything.. but I truely believe that the world is a reflection of your self and you deserve anything that happens to you.
I realize that, even if karma does exist I might have nurfed its effects by asking for a reward indirectly.

anyway.. I'm well over a thousand deeds now.. Nothing yet. But hey, you never know, right?

And hell.. even if I never get what I seek then at least I'll find comfort that I helped so many different people all over the globe. That I changed the world, no matter how insignificantly.

Well Im done. This'll be the last "serious" journal entry I make. I'm tired of the pms calling me an emo.

well I'm sure you've all heard how friggen' awsome transformers the movie was.. but hey.. not enough to stop me from ranting about it too!

Anyway... I'd like to start by saying that I was always a transformers freak. I grew up with the stuff.. and especially liked beast wars/beasties back when I was knee high to a grasshopper. When I saw that very first commercial (the one that didn't show any of the actual transformers) I thought to myself:

"they are going to make it a kids movie, I'm going to go watch it and end up scarring myself for the rest of my life"

I was wrong. Thankfully.

I went to go see it with my chums on friday night.. I wasnt particularly optimistic since none of my friends had yet to see it nor had I bothered to read any of the reviews. So I was honestly expecting a 2 hour snooze fest.

ANYWAY when we first got there, an hour and a half before the movie started, we realized THERE WAS ALREADY A LINE UP. so there I stood.. somehow managing to hold 2 large pops and a large popcorn while standing in line for a movie. It was late, I was tired.. I just wanted to go home. After waiting what seemed like an eternity we finally got past the crack security and found ourselves some prime seats.

all I can say about the movie is: it rocked my socks off. it was AWSOME. from the bot vs bot action to Megan fox ( ninja ) it was PERFECTLY done. Hell, even the sound track was very well put together.. it used semi-aged rock songs which would bring back memories for people my age.

Anyway: Spoon fed... GO WATCH IT IF YOU HAVNT YET!!!! mrgreen ;D

on a side note.. WEIRD AL CONCERT TOMORROW. wooooooo <3

anyway.. uhh.. first entry in a long time.. lets seeeeee.

oh I know! I'll talk about the artist that recently became my favourite: "Weird Al" Yankovic!

I've always loved his work.. I mean, I remember listening to "combo number five" back when I was like 6 years old and laughing my a** off. (its funnier if your asian) I'm an open guy, I listen to pretty much anything. Only recently (within the past month or so) I came across the song "white and nerdy" and was like HEY ITS WEIRD AL!

one day in computer science I was being extremely bored so I decided to wikipedia up weird al.. and I came across a paragraph that said that his parents were accidentally killed by carbon monoxide poisoning, yet he performed in a concert less then an hour after learning his parents were dead. I dont know about you.. but If I lost my parents, I'd be crying like a sissy. To perform at a concert like that takes heart.. so he gained some SERIOUS respect points for me after that.

I REALLY started to like him after I saw his "interview" with Eminmemimenimin..em. I HATE Eminem.. hell, I dislike the entire genre of rap and all the gangsta' wannabes at my school that result from that stuff. Al totally PWN'D eminem.. which I thought was pretty cool.

After that I went down to the local HMV and bought like 5 of his cds.. and soon I was a huge fan. Hell, I even bought a "white n nerdy" hoodie and a "weird al is my homie" tshirt off his official website 3nodding

well this brings me to my main point.. I'm seeing AL live on july 10th, this'll be my 3rd concert and I'm pretty damn excited.

School Life
I started school (obviously) and physics, accounting and university math is really killing me. Because of the work load I wont be able to get on as often as I used to, its not like any of you talk to me anyway rolleyes xd lol
My marks are all in the 90's right now (with exception of physics.. my marks like 75% gonk ) before you call me a nerd I have to make this year count, its my ticket to success in life so Im really trying the hardest I can. I doubt I can keep my marks in the 90s, I'll settle for mid 80s but I need to get on the honor role this year.

Love life
CML and I broke up. Again. I suppose its better for the both of us, we're both so busy and Im sure she can find someone better IRL anyway. I suprisingly got over it quickly.. I guess Im just used to being heart broken.

Game life
I havnt been playing anything for the longest time.. Played CSS for the first time in like a year. I sucked a** at it. my WOW account has expired, D2 account expired and I dont even know where my guild wars cd is >>;

I am however getting into competitive smash. I won first place in the tourney that my complex and several complexs nearby set up, I won like $100 too since everyone pitched in $5 bill. awsome. I might take this up a step and compete =D

Gaian Life
DJ quest has been completed.. eh.. not much to say here. I dont really care about gaian items anymore, I dunno.. Im just not as driven anymore to get cool items.

Late yesterday night [around 4 am. xD] I was looking through some boxes in my basement for some reason that I forgot.. and I stumbled upon my old ps2 game storage box.

After tossing aside several games like the .hack series.. rise to honor.. even some prince of persia games I found it.

my holy grail; Resident Evil outbreak, and Resident Evil outbreak File#2. At first I was going to chuck it aside.. but since I just finished playing RE 4 and 2 again.. I decided to try it out again. Its been months since ive played either game and I didnt remember much of what happens in either.

After running upstairs I popped in one of the cds [I believe it was file #2]

I played the "wild things" chapter.. and I was absolutely stunned. I cant believe I ever stuffed this game in that old crusty box in the basement!

Sure I got my a** pwned a few times by lions.. and I got dragged out the window by titan [the elephant] but I played and finished the chapter once again none the less.

well heres my main point; I might not be on gaia for awhile.. I'll be busy with summerschool and ONLINE oubreak. -joygasms- xDDDD

damn you Titan.. damn you..

Anyway; if you live near me and own a gamecube or PS2 I can lend you either so we can play online. ^^ <3

Well.. I havnt posted in here for a month. Its not like anyone reads this anyway but I guess I might as well update >>;

My mom sent me to the grocery store to get some "bologna" I searched the dairy section.. the veggies section.. the frozen goods section.. the snack section.. and I still have no idea what the hell is bologna. confused stare Im guessing its a meat..? since thats the only place I havnt checked.

aside from that; I start summer school this week. I get to be in a new school with a new class in a subject ive already taken and aced! yay! surprised I also start my two community service jobs this weekend: Lion dancing and a 3 hour shift at the library twice a week.

While every other student is in florida, jamaica or some other exotic place I get to be stuck in a classroom with a bunch of failures and spending my afternoons dusting moldy tomes. yay!

Jess is also going away for a week.. shes like the only one that pms me to talk.

Its going to be one hell of a boring week.
