The gunpowder treason and plot...Well, first of all, if you aren't familiar with V for Vendetta and are only here out of curiosity, go watch the movie and/or read the book. But that's not the major point of this thread.

This is the best idea anyone has ever had in the history of Gaia.
Come November 5th, wouldn't it be awesome to stage an invasion of the V avatars, just like in the movie? If you wish to participate, begin collecting items to create a V costume. I post this now to give you the time to get it all together, since I know that many of you aren't exactly rich and will need to save up for the outfit.
YOU WILL NEED:-A black, broad-brimmed hat such as the Colonial Hat or Chess Hat.
-A black cloak or cape. The Dark Cape is sub-optimal because of its red lining. The Lunar Cloak is glitchy, at least on women, but this can be remedied by changing the arm position. The Witch's Cape is a good budget option for women; for men, the Colonial Cape is both cheap and accurate.
-A white mask that covers the entire face. Kitsune mask is good if you have it, because it can smile, but don't go out of your way to rustle up over 300,000 gold.
There are other white masks that you can use. The Hockey Mask is cheap and effective.-Plain black boots.
-A black shirt or top that doesn't cut off at the waist.
-Black pants or tights.
-Black gloves that cover the entire hand.
-Optional: Pink carnations. They make excellent violet carsons.
-Optional: Sword of Aegis, since it has a daggerlike form.
I have Tektek'd two versions - one for each gender - as examples that may be adapted. Do not consider this a dress code; they are only suggestions:

FemaleI have avoided using any donation items, but the ideal V uses a Kitsune Mask in the smiling position, and on the female the
Lunar Cloak makes the outfit more visible. Note that these are only my own impressions of what makes an ideal V, and
it is both acceptable and encouraged that you make adjustments to fit your budget! V Cooks Breakfast is an excellent variant for those of you who have budget issues.

IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD THIS:There is a charity to help you get there. Keep in mind this isn't happening until November 5th, so you have lots of time to gather gold and things. Also consider the Apron!V costume, which is much, much cheaper than the traditional V.

I'd like to join this movement, albeit a bit on the slow side...
I've even come up with an /extremely/ low-budget idea:
Cheapo Fencer VNow, I'm pretty ignorant of how gaia actually works, so if this isn't actually as cheap/feasible as it seems, please, somebody tell me. ^^
If your hairstyle leaves your ears showing, that's okay. I know it's expensive to buy many of them, and since there are no good wigs on Gaia (a bummer, because I'd totally get one for this), a teeny bit of skin is fine. Unless, of course, you DO choose to go all out and get your hair redone in a shoulder-length dark brown ear-hiding style. But I doubt I will.

sells edited avatars in the vein of V. Available currently are Kiddo the Fox-Phoenix's V costumes, and my own limited-edition V-wearing-apron.
