In the deepest part of the forest
a flower of despair and sorrow grows,
in the place where a young boy and girl
shared a tragic death for love and hope,
when spellbound by a mesmerizing passion
for one another they had become inseperable,
an unwanted love by one anothers parents
they came here to this spot to dance and
meet under the night sky and share their
young love for one another,on one tragic night
he did not appear as usual...she became
worried...moments passed and he showed...
half beaten by his fathers hands...mouth and
ripped shirt covered in his own blood...
as she ran towards him a hand from the shadows
grabbed her by the arm and a ferocious blow to the
face from a silhouette that appeared to be her
father filled in rage...with a rifle in his hand
and a shovel in the other...the boy with his remaining strength charged at him and delivered
a critical blow to the mans jaw...filled in rage
the man countered the young boys attack by givng him a vicous blow to the torso and caused even
more blood to spill...spill where soon this rose
now withers after so long...as she watched in horror as her beloved was bieng beaten by her father...watching in tears frozen with sorrow and
fear...the boy managed to disarm her father of his
rifle...but little did he know that a small pistol was hidden in the mans jacket...ready to fire...the night sky became dark and rain began to
pour...tears from the heavens were shed on this
painful and tragic night...the moment came...
who would come the winner...her father pulled out
his silver gun as it shined in the night...ready
for a duel the man said..."boy the day i die will
be the day my daughter will be able so see such
pathetic excuse of a man..." in the dark and cold
silence they stood...the boy replied..."sir...i will love your daughter even if today the lord chooses for us to die i will love her in heaven
for all of eternity..."...shots were fired...the
boy fell to the floor...in a puddle of his own blood...the man fell to his knees...she ran towards her beloved...in the silence and faint pouring of rain he said to her faintly..."My love..my dear hold me close...I-I always have and always will love you"...holding her in his arms her father fired at her after a brief moment...she and him both gasped...her eyes became
faint and tear fell from her seraphim eyes...In a moment of sadness and love they kissed one last time as they fell to the floor...as they layed together there were they had met for so long now
dead...as for her father filled in grief and agony took his own life...days later the bodies were found and given a funeral for husband and wife...years have passed since that day...the day
when my mother and father gave their lives........
Their lives they gave for....love...
"Its been a long time since that tragic night."
The night my mother and father died in the name of love.A boy with black hair that passed his eyes.Light skinned complexion radiating death.Always reading books of a certain genre under a tree located in the towns graveyard.It was the time of festivities in his small town of Crow valley."Come one come all to the annual carnival of wonders and mysteries." You would hear this as large man yelled in the center of the town square while people gathered around.
"Who's she..."this he said while dropping his book and looked at her.A girl of his age whom he had never seen before.She was the daughter of the new towns mayor.She had long beautiful burnette hair,soft light skin and a smile that was to die for.She looked at him....,and smiled.
He was standing by the tree looking at her with adoring eyes.She was standing by a bookstore not far from him.She looked at him with the same eyes.Unfortunetly her father was there and saw her looking at the boy."I do not want you anywhere near that boy...you understand."said her father."I will not let my only daughter see such a boy especially one so strange." "But father why do you call him strange?" "I have heard rumors of a strange boy whom always reads by side of the funeral tree.Always reading there alone at night and day books of the bizarre." "I do not beleive he is strange" said the girl."I think that that's unique in a per-." "BLAH!! you speak nonsense you are young and unaware of what you say." "Father is right sister you are only 15 years of age one so young cannot understand such a thing...besides you are going to be engaged to benjamin fathers associates older son." "Never i do not wish to do such a repulsive thing" said the girl."What are they saying...i wonder if i should approach her." "Look dear we have no time to argue we must go now to make for the decorations of the festival later tonight and the masquerade tomorrow night." "....Okay father...but he seems so peaceful and kind."She then left with her brother and father heading towards a brown two story house made of wood.He knew he would see her at the festival later that day because everyone in the town always went.Except himself because he never thought they seemed like much...until now.The hours passed and he could only think of her and could not continue reading his book."How i have never seen her before i do not know, but she seemed so beautiful."Nightfall came and the moon was full this night.Lights were lit everywhere in the town of crow valley this evening.The towns people were out and about.Everywhere there was music and games.The gypsy groups were at play,the children running about and all were at joy."Where could she possibly be?"He wondered around for a while.Seeming to have lost all hope he saw her walking towards an old abandoned building.He followed in compollsion and felt like she wanted him to follow her.He was right.There she stood before him in a beautiful dress and looking at him with a smile to die for.They looked at each other...she blushed and finally spoke."My name is Adelicia."..."What is yours?"She asked him this as he looked at her mesmerized by her beauty.He replied..."My name you ask?" "Yes of course i would like to know your name." "My parents called me...yard." He said this a bit nervously thinking she would laugh. "I like it...it suits you." "Would you...like to come in with me to my hiding spot?" "Hiding spot?" He asked in curiousity. "Why do you have a hiding spot to begin with?" "Honestly...if you want to know come with me." She opened the door and he followed in."My father is the mayor of crow valley now and he wants me to marry his associates son to keep the bussiness running." She looked down at the floor as if though she was in despair. He took her hand softly and slowly.She looked up...and kissed him."I love you yard...since when I saw you by the tree reading so peacefully." "Adelicia...when i saw you standing at the bookstore i felt compelled to speak to you but you had left." He looked at her in the eyes and she looked at him with the same eyes.He took her by the hand and she ran her hand through his long black hair and kissed.The moon was full and the crows were flying through the sky.This night was a blessing from above.The morning after he was by the funeral tree reading once more at the graveyard.Except today...he had a smile on his face.See Yard would never smile but after the night before he felt the ice in his heart melt away."Hello what are you reading?" called a soft voice from behind."A book what else Adelicia" he replied.
She smiled and kissed him on the cheek and blushed faintly.Sadly her father passed by and saw her kissing him.He came closer and ran a pocket knife to the face of Yard.The hit caused a faint amount of blood to spill."Stop! father please don't!" "What was it i told you!" yelled her father. He grabbed her by the arm and pulled her away. "P-P-please stop father...please don't" she sobbed as tears poured from her eyes."You are my daughter and you will obey what I say."
Yard got to his feet and threw an immediate blow to the mans jaw.Catching her in his arms rapidly as her father landed on the grass.Face covered in his own blood the man lay on the floor unconscious."Is-is he dead?"she asked."No" yard replied."He is only knocked out but i think it would be best if we left."They ran to the old abandoned building and there they stayed.Her brother had seen what had happened from a distance and followed them."Why does your father dislike so much?" asked yard."He believes you are strange but i think your unique." "He thinks I am strange...like everyone else in the town" he said softly.
A sudden knock came from outside.It was her father and brother outside the door."Do you trust me?" he asked quickly."Of course I do" she replied."Then take my hand and come with me."They quickly left through the back exit and ran.They ran to the forest where his parents had died."Where are we going?" "To the forest where we hopefully won't be found." The night began to fall and the rain began to pour.When they had arrived it was too late.Her father and brother were there standing glaring at Yard in the eyes."I told you Adelicia that I did not want you seeing this strange boy." The rain began to pour down even more as the skies cried."Boy prepare to meet your death." "Sir I love your daughter to death and in death." "Such strong words father for a boy." Her brother ran towards yard in an attempt to throw a blow to the face.But he missed as he slipped and ran into a thick sharp branch causing his death.Seeing the blood of his only son her father was now even in more rage.He quickly pulled out a silver revolver.Yard remembered as he looked at the gun."Sir I will love your daughter even if the lord chooses for us to die." He remembered his father saying this before he was shot."Boy you will regret the day you were born!" said her father in a burst of anger.He shot at yard twice.The crows and ravens spread out and flew cawing."YARD!" screamed adelicia.He was shot in the shoulder but luckily the bullet had passed through."My love look at the moon." "Okay my dear" she looked at the moon in the rain and saw how it shun so brightly.On this night the moon shun a bright red.Never in her life had seen something so rare and beautiful."I wanted to share it with you tonight because it is the only time it will shine bright red in our life times." "BAH! you speak nonsense boy such a thing..." he paused as he saw it himself in disbelief. He dropped his gun then looked at his daughters tears and at the boy on his knees looking at adelicia with adoring eyes of compassion."I will never allow you to see my daughter boy" said the man. He picked up his silver revolver and aiming at the head of yard.Suddenly from above two crows came down scratching his hand and causing him to drop his gun.With bleeding hands he then ran towards yard with a fist in the air.Yard quickly got up and delivered a blow to the man first.He send adelicias father to the floor spilling a puddle of blood.Sadly he had reached his gun and shot yard in the arm with his last remaining breath spilling more blood on the very same spot where his fathers blood had spilled.With the last of his strength yard walked towards Adelicia and kissed her holding her with only his right arm.Kissing eachother under the rain and the moonlight where his father and mother had met for so long.They kissed as the ravens and crows sang for their love.They danced under the moonlight for the remainder of the night."I never want to let go my dear"said he."Nor do I"she replied.Holding her close he whispered..."I love you.".......
