We see a flier saying “Poke’ Pets Shop Refunds”. The shop had gone out of business, but they were willing to give a prize to anyone if they loved their pet bought there. Riding a bike, a girl, with an Espeon in the basket of the bike, peddled down the street, going faster than she should. At the other end of the street, a boy, running for his life, with an Umbreon, paced equal to him, jumping from building to building, were running from this odd looking, blue haired man who was using some odd device to chase the kid. When the kid’s headband came too low and covered his eyes; the girls ribbon came off and she turned back, to try and grab it. They collided. The blue haired man hid to not have the girl notice him. They picked up there things, for the girl her bike and bag, for the boy his bag and thing that was in his hand. Before the boy could pick it back up, the girl grabbed it and looked at it amazingly. The girl yelled out, “Where did you get this--” The boy put his hand over her mouth and said, “If you promise to shut up and not ask about it and get me to a safe spot, like a Pokemon Center or shop, I’ll tell you every thing.” The girl nodded and they walked to the shop she was heading for; the Umbreon, now walking with the guy, and the Espeon, with the girl. While they walked, the boy noticed the bracelet on the girl’s wrist, and got a troubled look on his face.

Once they reached an old, run down pet shop, they sat down and the girl started asking questions like crazy, “Who are you? What’s with that collar? Is that your Umbreon? Why were you running?” The boy answered, “My name is Chaos. I got the collar from the Umbreon. Yes, he is mine and I got him in this city in some pet shop. The reason I was running is because there is a guy trying to steal the collar. I don’t know why but all I know is that my Umbreon has had it ever since I got it. Now you answer me. Who are you? Why were you riding so reckless? Is that Espeon yours or did you steal it? And why the heck did you take me to this crap shack?!” Right when the word “crap shack” was said the guy at the counter yelled, “Yo, Love Birds, if it’s such a crap shack than why are you here?” The boy and the girl blushed than the boy said he was sorry and that he was over exaggerating which made the guy ok for now. “My name is Colette. And I wasn’t reckless; I was in a hurry to get to this place. Second, this Espeon is mine and I bought her here. And the reason I brought you here is because I needed to get here, you wanted a safe place to go to, and since your Umbreon has the same collar as my Espeon, yours must have been bought here too.” Finally answered the girl.
The shopkeeper heard that both of them bought their Pokemon here, and told them to come over to him. “So, you two got those two here about two years ago…I remember now. When I first got those two, they were still Eevee, and never wanted to leave the other, but I had to sell them and because no one would buy both, I sold them separately…and now they’re back. Oh, little girl, did you come here about my fliers?” Colette nodded, “I did because I was very happy with my Espeon, and as far as I can tell, my new friend is happy with his Umbreon.” Chaos thinks, “Since when have I become her friend?” “So, since you’re happy with your buy, you both get rewards,” said the Shopkeeper. Chaos, excitedly, replied, “What do we get!” “Well…I didn’t think any one had a good buy…so I only have two tickets for a 6 day cruise.” The shopkeeper answered. Colette yelled, “We’ll take them!” “Does this mean I have to go now?” Asked Chaos to his Umbreon. Umbreon nodded. “Of course you do! If what that jerk said is right, than our Pokemon would love to spend 6 days together!” Yelled Colette. The shopkeeper, pissed off, gave Colette both the tickets. Colette checked where it is, grabbed Chaos’s wrist and dragged him to where the cruise is. Umbreon and Espeon followed.
(Note: For those who are clueless, they are predicted to be in Olivine City in the Johto region.)
When they got there, they gave the ticket to the ticket checker (or what ever they’re called) and got on. They found out where their room was and unloaded their stuff there. “So, we’re going to have to spend 6 days, on this ship…and in this room…great…” Said Chaos. Colette yelled, “Come on! You have such a great Umbreon but you’re the biggest bore ever!” “Maybe because I pay attention and don’t yell every word I say…” Colette slapped Chaos and marched out, pissed off. “What’d I do?! Just telling the truth! Screw this, I’m going to sleep.” Chaos lied down and closed his eyes, trying to look asleep. Umbreon looked at him, than the door, than back and forth some more, until he just runs out to look around.
Back at Colette, she’s checking out the main deck where other trainers are chatting. A girl walks up to Colette and the girl starts staring at Espeon and its collar. “Where did you get that? I’ve never seen an item like that!” Colette replies, “I’m not really sure where it’s from, she came with it when she was an Eevee.” The girl, shocked, “You bought it? That’s not right! Pokemon aren’t something to be bought and sold! By the way, my name is Rave” Espeon nods, agreeing with Rave. “I know they aren’t, but it was two years ago and my dad wanted me to get a pet Pokemon before I started training…but, when it became an Espeon than he started to let me go out on my own. Now I’m here because me and…well, I just won a ticket for being happy that I bought Espeon. And my name is Colette” Rave, happily replied, ”Ok, but aren’t most prizes for cruises more than one ticket, so you don’t travel alone and all?” Colette answered, “Yeah…the other one was given to this guy with an Umbreon, and he only came because his Umbreon wanted to--” “Does that mean you’re a couple? Most people think when they see two people with an Espeon and an Umbreon; they think the Pokemon and trainers are couples.” Colette blushes. “No, no, no! We just met a while ago is all!” Rave giggles. “So, where is he, and his Umbreon?” Colette looks around and sees Umbreon standing in the doorway to the deck. Colette runs over, picks him up and runs back over to Rave. “Here he is!” Rave looks at it and notices that its collar is the same as Espeon’s. “You sure you two aren’t a couple? Your Pokemon have the same collar.” Colette blushes, puts Umbreon down and starts for the door. “I got to run! Bye!” Colette runs off to her and Chaos’s room.
Colette knocks on the door. Chaos replies, “It’s unlocked!” Colette opens the door and walks in, “Shouldn’t you lock it? We don’t want random people walking in.” “So what if they do, what’ll they do? Also…I’m…umm…well…” “You’re trying to say sorry, aren’t you?” Chaos nodded. “Well then, apology accepted.” “Thanks…so, anything happens out there…it sounded like you ran here…” Colette, surprised Chaos has that good of hearing, replied, “Sort of. When I went out there, I talked to a girl, named Rave, about how I got here and also about you a bit and she kept asking if we were a couple, because our Umbreon and Espeon have the same collar in all. I left as fast as I could before I said something stupid that’d make you hate me.” Chaos, surprised, said, “I’m not too fond of you, but I will accept that you’re my friend…if anything…” Colette smiles and walks up to him like she was going to hug him but Chaos turns over and started giving her the cold shoulder, then let’s out, “Shouldn’t we be getting some rest, it’s not like we have anything else to do. Also, I heard from the room over there is going to be some party tonight, and I might actually go…” Colette smiles, “Ok!” They both went to sleep and their Pokemon sleep next to each other.
