I'm getting sick of seeing people claiming that I took the ookami armor design from Wow. I've already argued my case in the threads MONTHS ago, but for your convenience I will reiterate the points here as they come off the top of my head.

1) WoW is NOT the thing that started the whole fantasy genre. In fact, there are many items in there that are NOT original and can be found in other fantasy-based stories and games that came before it, the wolf armor included I'm sure. So in that case, if you're saying that I stole the armor design from WoW, then you can make the same argument against WoW and that WoW stole from its predecessors. I'm sure that they created the items with the intention of making something that people would enjoy, as did I.

2) The only thing that I've seen of WoW before that whole silly argument was the South Park parody *still has no clue if that footage is from the actual game...* and the front page of the site to WoW after a friend told me she liked the game. I am sure that the armor can only be obtained by advancing through levels or completing some quests there. I have no clue how you obtain it, but I did have quite an unsavory surprise when I saw the comparison between my armor design and one from WoW that I have never seen before in my entire life. I'm sure that any other respectable artist would shudder if they found out that their original idea closely resembles something else that they discovered some time later.

3) I do not play WoW. I would not touch WoW because the 3d animation style is not very good imo -_- . That and I know that the game somehow magically devours people, not something I want happening to me. And...the monthly fee, which I heard about from my brother.


If you enjoy the armor, that's great 83 ~ the item is meant for everyone to enjoy and I'm glad that it made it into the finals, because I don't think that a similar item design would have been produced within years without the sketch---and that lead the way to gaining support for more armor if you have seen that in the SF forum. So if you're wearing any new armor, that is most likely the result of the SF requests (and believe me, the gaia staff DOES read those---there have been plenty of SF suggestions that have made it as items and new site features). And if you hate it, you don't have to wear it. It's as simple as that 3nodding
